WWE Night of Champions 2023 will be the end of the road for Seth Rollins and AJ Styles' world title journey. A golden opportunity to be regarded as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion will be on the line, even though the revamped version of the Big Gold Belt has a history spanning over a century.

Rollins is the betting favorite to win the World Title competition. Keeping aside the cult following he has gained over the years, there are also some other signs why The Visionary might beat AJ Styles at WWE Night of Champions 2023. Here are five of them.

#5. Seth Rollins has earned a World Title

The conductor of his own symphony, Seth Rollins, has been the highlight of RAW at a time when the brand lacked a world champion, and superstars kept getting injured. With iconic promos and wrestling almost every week on television, Rollins also appeared in house shows regularly.

Seth Rollins won the United States Title, but he deserves more than a mid-card gold. The new World Championship is believed to be for the company's No.1 consistent performer. After all, the motive is to crown a top new champion that makes up for Roman Reigns' absence in premium events and live events.

#4. He has a few arch-rivals on RAW

A mainstay of the red brand for several years, Seth Rollins has some of the toughest rivals that could renew their rivalry after he wins at Night of Champions 2023. Cody Rhodes has a painful history with Rollins, along with Finn Balor. The list also includes Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar.

Given Triple H's penchant for narrative, WWE might go the obvious path and book Rollins to win the World Championship. The storylines will basically write themselves as soon as the first titleholder is crowned. AJ Styles has little experience in facing Lesnar and McIntyre and none with Rhodes.

#3. AJ Styles and The OC probably won't be separated

There is a reason why The Original Club disappeared from television following AJ Styles' injury in January. He coordinates the faction, and most of the storylines revolve around him. His shift to RAW after winning at Night of Champions 2023, away from his fellow Club members, won't be a good decision.

In 2018, Gallows and Anderson were drafted to SmackDown while Styles remained in RAW. The multi-time tag team champs embarked on a disastrous run, losing battles to rising stars such as Shinsuke Nakamura and Aiden English. WWE was forced to move them to the red brand the following year.

Presently, moving The OC to RAW is also not a good option. SmackDown lacks top babyface stables in the roster. Brawling Brutes is currently feuding with Pretty Deadly, and LWO is still in its developing stages. Also, The Bloodline hasn't faced AJ's forces yet, and the rumored showdown would be a huge sellout point in the future.

#2. AJ Styles is rumored to feud with Karrion Kross after WWE Night of Champions 2023

During the May 19 episode of SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett revealed an AJ Styles tarot card. Both stars will be in action on the pre-taped SmackDown go-show of Night of Champions 2023 next week, but that might not be the end of their rivalry.

Rumors further indicate that Karrion will be a long-term antagonist to The Phenomenal One on SmackDown. AJ Styles will win against The TollMan in the upcoming flagship episode, so there's a chance that the latter cost him the World Title match out of spite, beginning a feud.

#1. Seth Rollins is a much more interesting character

A major downside to AJ Styles is his lack of persona. He either plays a typical babyface or a typical heel, and his in-ring movements complement the character. In modern wrestling, this becomes stale over time.

Meanwhile, each of Seth Rollins' characters has a distinct background and style. His current Visionary identity, which is comparable to The Joker from DC Comics, has been well received by the public because it reflects his attitude of unrelenting chaos. He started as an obvious heel, but the crowd was hypnotized by his drama.

Given the support from the WWE Universe, it doesn't seem like The Visionary's popularity will die down soon. This makes Seth Rollins a bigger babyface and the favorite to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions 2023.
