Since the main roster is set to travel to Saudi Arabia, the WWE SmackDown go-home show for Night of Champions is pre-taped. The shoot occurred right after the May 19 episode, which took place in the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.

Some interesting developments were seen in this week's show. Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish the Women's Tag Team Titles due to Liv Morgan's injury. Karrion Kross was teased as AJ Styles' opponent. To begin the show and to end, The Usos incurred the wrath of Roman Reigns.

This list will look at seven spoilers you need to know for the WWE SmackDown before Night of Champions.

#7. Cameron Grimes will continue his rivalry with an established heel

Cameron Grimes made his main roster debut against Baron Corbin and defeated him in six seconds on the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown.

During an interview tonight, the youngster declared how he feels unstoppable after beating the former United States Champion in record time.

The boasting will have repercussions, though. Grimes will defeat Ashante 'Thee' Adonis in the upcoming SmackDown episode, after which Corbin will assault him. The post-match assault will officially begin their feud.

#6. Sheamus and Austin Theory battle for the United States Championship

Pretty Deadly won against Ridge Holland and Butch on the latest WWE SmackDown. The up-and-coming heels were deceptive in their tactics.

Sheamus will lock horns with Austin Theory for the United States Championship in the next taping.

Unfortunately, fans may have to wait longer for The Celtic Warrior's fourth United States Title. Elton Prince and Kit Wilson will continue to torment the Brawling Brutes. They will cost Sheamus his title match by playing a crucial interference.

#5. The potential mystery partner of Raquel Rodriguez

WWE announced a Fatal Four-Way Match for the Women's Tag Team Championship on the May 29 episode of RAW. Raquel Rodriguez had to let go of the titles due to Liv Morgan's injury, but she will have a mystery partner backing her in two weeks.

Who is Raquel's mystery partner? A potential answer is Shotzi. Both superstars will fight and defeat IYO SKY and Bayley in the upcoming WWE SmackDown episode. It was also mentioned that Damage CTRL's next defeat would be due to another miscommunication.

Reports by Xero News also point to Shotzi being Raquel's next partner. Nonetheless, the odds are in Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler's favor.

#4. The Street Profits join the commentary for LA Knight's match

LA Knight and Rick Boogs took in the forces for Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford tonight on WWE SmackDown. As expected, the new team came out short against the former tag team champions, after which Knight turned on his partner.

The Defiant One will now face Rick Boogs in next week's episode. Not only will he defeat the star, but The Street Profits will also be on commentary.

A post-match confrontation will occur between Knight and the duo, where the former would boast of beating them single-handedly.

#3. AJ Styles and Karrion Kross have a first-time-ever clash on WWE SmackDown

Before Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn's match against Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon, a video segment featuring Karrion Kross and Scarlett was played on-screen. They revealed an AJ Styles tarot card, thus proving the reports on the latter's next feud to be true.

The Phenomenal will face Kross on next week's WWE SmackDown edition. AJ will pick up the win thanks to Mia Yim hindering Scarlett's interference. This will earn him momentum going into the World Heavyweight Championship match, but Karrion could look to avenge the defeat in some way.

#2. Bianca Belair gets one over Asuka

The Empress ruined Bianca Belair's celebrations last week to book their RAW Women's Championship match at Night of Champions. She sprayed Poison Mist on her eyes.

Asuka attempted the same this week when Bianca tried to save Zelina Vega from a post-match beatdown.

Bianca didn't get the full blast of the Mist this time on WWE SmackDown. Next week, she'll cut a promo seemingly to call out her rival. Asuka will try to run a distraction with her entrance music and blindside the champion, but The EST will eventually get the better of her in the brawl.

#1. Roman Reigns will be back on WWE SmackDown

The pre-Night of Champions flagship show will develop the Bloodline story in a significant way. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa were disgusted by The Usos' loss against Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar on the latest WWE SmackDown. The rift between both parties will continue to be teased.

Kevin Owens will call out Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa for the KO Show in next week's WWE SmackDown episode. After some chit-chat, Sami Zayn and Owens will be laid out by The Bloodline. Paul Heyman will be present as well.

The segment will end with Reigns holding up the Undisputed Tag Team Championship with Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso by his side. Additionally, the latter will have a sad look on his face.
