The dominant duo of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have gotten a golden opportunity to clinch the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Earlier tonight, Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish the gold because Liv Morgan is injured. A Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Match will decide the new titleholders on the RAW after Night of Champions.

Rodriguez is set to have a mystery partner to regain her championship. The team of Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green and SmackDown stars Bayley and IYO SKY are also in the mix. Yet, the two Horsewomen of MMA are the most likely team to grab their first Tag Team Title together.

Here are three signs Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will be the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

#3. Rising tensions between IYO SKY and Bayley

Damage CTRL used to be the biggest threat to the Women's Tag Team Champions. However, all three members have recently lost to Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Bayley replaced IYO SKY to pair with Dakota Kai, but the results were still not in their favor.

There have been clear hints that IYO will turn face on the Role Model. First, the latter unknowingly cost The Genius of the Sky her RAW Women's Title match against Bianca Belair at Backlash. She then talked about having 'high expectations' but was let down, gaining side glances from IYO, before knocking her off the apron during a match.

Given that Bayley and IYO SKY have taken center stage in the Damage CTRL saga, WWE is apparently planning to continue their implosion story. This means Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have more chances to win the upcoming title match. They can capitalize on miscommunications, adding to their opponents' strained relationship.

#2. Sonya Deville could turn heel on Chelsea Green

Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green are superb comedic acts. However, the latter is slowly gaining favor in the eyes of the audience. WWE could be planning to develop Green into a singles competitor in the near future, given that the competition in the tag division may not result in her first championship win.

The team of Green and Deville was formed based on their lack of opportunities. Yet, when the opportunity presented itself, they couldn't fully capitalize on the high-profile matches. The only thing they have in common is protesting against Adam Pearce. It is only a matter of time before the blame falls on their shoulders.

Losing yet another tag team title match will bolster their frustrated characters. On another note, they are the underdogs against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Hence, their win is unlikely.

#1. The Women's Tag Team Titles have eluded Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler so far

Since their start as a tag team, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler haven't lost a single match. They were supposed to capture the Women's Tag Team Titles from Becky Lynch and Lita at WrestleMania, but the program was postponed. The duo did win the WrestleMania Showcase to become the No.1 with almost no effort.

Due to injuries, both Rousey and Baszler had to take a break. This allowed Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez their championship opportunity. The original plans have always favored pushing Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to the heights, which could pan out on the May 29 episode of RAW.

Speculations of Charlotte Flair being the mystery partner for Raquel Rodriguez are trending on Twitter. She is expected to reignite her rivalry with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
