SummerSlam headed to Toronto this year and it was a packed affair filled with many attractions. Perhaps the biggest one of all was the return of Canada's own Trish Stratus who took on Charlotte Flair, in a match that proved that the fire that legends still have in their belly to perform at the highest level will never be extinguished.
But while in Toronto, Elias decided to rile up the WWE Universe by singing a song that buries the city and obviously the crowd protested the same with jeers galore. And then, to their surprise, Edge would make his huge comeback and actually get physical in the ring, hitting Elias with a spear!
This was a landmark event because it's been years since Edge was physical in the ring and it made us wonder if Edge would indeed return to entertain his fans again. While the answer to the question is unclear at this point in time, it certainly proves that if necessary, Edge can hit a spear and honestly, how different is that than coming to the Royal Rumble, eliminating a few competitors and getting eliminated?
