5 Storylines to bring Bray Wyatt back into the WWE roster

There are so many ways this return could be booked
There are so many ways this return could be booked

The Eater of Worlds has been missing in action for months now. Fans have yearned to see him make his comeback to no avail. Yes, he has made cameos at special events like Starrcade but that's been the extent of his participation. Dave Meltzer even said that creative has nothing for him.

So, how does one book his return to action? I will suggest 5 possible ways that Wyatt could re-enter the mix. I shall base each of these points on his previous booking and his character traits.

Of course, I want you to suggest how you would book his return to action as well. I think we can all agree that a performer of his calibre needs to be in the ring and not sitting at home, biding his time for a return to the ring.

Characters like him come along once in a generation.

#5 Reunion with Matt Hardy

To be honest, this is the least exciting of all the possibilities
To be honest, this is the least exciting of all the possibilities

I am a huge fan of Matt Hardy and the 'Broken/Woken' universe. I am also a big fan of Bray Wyatt and everything he has achieved during his WWE career. I did not even mind them when they used to tag as a unit.

I just think that bringing them back as a tag team may not be the right move for either individual. It just feels like a step back somehow. That said, this is certainly one of the possibilities if WWE were to book their return.

The RAW Tag Team Division really needs some big names as we head into WrestleMania 35, and who better than these two eccentric men to kick things up a notch? They could be split up after the Superstar Shake-up, following WrestleMania 35.

#4 Braun Strowman's opponent for WrestleMania

A clash between the master and disciple could be very interesting
A clash between the master and disciple could be very interesting

It is easy to forget how far Braun Strowman has come. When he made his debut, Strowman was a member of the Wyatt Family. It was only when he was separated from the rest of the pack that he could branch out and become the top monster in the roster. However, it doesn't seem like he has an opponent for WrestleMania.

I'd love to potentially see a showdown between Wyatt and Strowman based on their history in the Wyatt family, once upon a time. It would be a nice departure from the storylines we've seen Strowman in, as he becomes victim to psychological torture. A creative individual like Wyatt could certainly make things interesting with his promos.

The eventual match could have Strowman go over and break the spell of Wyatt at last. I'd love to see such a storyline transpire.

#3 To challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship

Wyatt and Rowan could settle their differences in the ring
Wyatt and Rowan could settle their differences in the ring

Much like Braun Strowman, once upon a time Erick Rowan too was a member of The Wyatt Family in WWE. And now, he is Daniel Bryan's muscle, having undergone a complete transformation.

Bray Wyatt could always make a comeback to the ring and threaten to brainwash Rowan and bring him back to the fold once again. By doing so, the WrestleMania 35 match between Bryan and Wyatt for the WWE Championship could be set up.

This would be a great feud because Bryan and Wyatt are both strong characters who have great chemistry with one another and also have a history based on the time when Bryan was part of the Wyatt Family. This would be the evil, malicious Bray Wyatt and not the jolly Matt Hardy version, of course.

Would you like to see Bray Wyatt as WWE Champion again?

#2 Leader of SAnitY

Could this be a brand new Wyatt family?
Could this be a brand new Wyatt family?

SAnitY made their SmackDown debut not long after WrestleMania 34 last year. But they haven't received a lot of TV time since then, even voicing their concerns on social media. Maybe Bray Wyatt could return to lead them into the light (or into the dark).

There are a lot of similarities between SAnitY and The Wyatt Family, which could even be the reason that WWE has not pushed SAnitY to the top. Three talented individuals, namely Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe are having to sit on the sidelines as a result. Having Bray Wyatt in the mix will give them the visibility they've always craved from the WWE Universe.

How far will SAnitY go with Bray Wyatt at the helm? That's impossible to predict for certain but anything should be better than getting no TV time at all.

#1 Rebranding Nikki Cross as Sister Abigail

What a devious duo these guys will make!
What a devious duo these guys will make!

I do not like the way Nikki Cross has been booked in the main roster. She deserves to be an unhinged spirit who channels chaos and so teaming up with Alicia Fox is a 'no', at least for me. What if she were rebranded as 'Sister Abigail', Bray Wyatt's manager on RAW? It would certainly shake things up quite significantly indeed.

She could be the Lana to Rusev, when Rusev first rose to power. Likewise, Wyatt could cause distractions during her matches and have her pick up wins using certain supernatural elements. This is an alliance that could certainly yield results.

Maybe points 1 and 2 could be combined as well, where all the forces of darkness lie under Wyatt's thrall. SAnitY is his muscle while Cross is his muse.
