The WWE Draft, which recently concluded on SmackDown and RAW, is an annual event that assigns superstars to either brand for the next twelve months. Superstars from NXT are also eligible.

The WWE Draft has been a staple since 2002, except for a few years when RAW and SmackDown merged. The event has always drawn great fanfare.

Let's take a look at five superstars who haven't appeared on WWE TV since the 2021 Draft.

#5. The Miz hasn't appeared after the 2021 WWE Draft

One star who's missing since the Draft is The Miz. The two-time WWE Champion is one of WWE's most consistent performers.

During the 2021 WWE Draft, The Miz was part of the supplemental draft following RAW. He was the sixth to last name to be selected.

So why hasn't The Miz appeared since the 2021 WWE Draft?

The eight-time Intercontinental Champion has been a contestant on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. He's appearing on the show alongside professional dancer Witney Carson.

The Miz spoke with 3News about the hardest part of being on the hit show:

"The past 16 years, I have been the most egotistical, arrogant jerk on WWE. That's what my character is. He will cheat to win. So now I’m going to ask those people, ‘hey, vote for me!'" (h/t Inside The Ropes)

When The Miz is done with Dancing with the Stars, we'll see him back on our screens.

#4. Eva Marie hasn't appeared after the 2021 WWE Draft

Eva Marie returned to WWE in 2021 and is already taking a leave of absence. Marie hasn't been seen since September following an attack by Shayna Baszler on RAW.

Interestingly, during WWE Draft, Eva Marie was not selected for any brand. She is now considered a free agent, which means she can sign with any brand.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an update on Marie's status. He confirmed that Marie is currently away from WWE as she’s "working on a movie for a while."

Eva is no stranger to the world of cinema. She has appeared in three films: Inconceivable, Action #1, and Hard Kill. She is now working on a fourth film, but no details have been revealed.

Going off past superstars who've taken a hiatus for acting, Eva will likely be away for several months. Whether she'll be returning to RAW, SmackDown, or NXT isn't clear yet.

#3. Elias hasn't appeared after the 2021 WWE Draft

The big question on the minds of the WWE Universe right now is, where is Elias? After all, WWE stands for Walk With Elias.

On the August 9, 2021 episode of RAW, we saw something tragic. We witnessed Elias burning his guitar and proclaiming that Elias was dead.

It has led to a lot of speculation as to what is next for The Drifter. Similar to Eva Marie, Elias went undrafted in the 2021 Draft, meaning he also is a free agent.

There were rumors that Elias would be coming to NXT following ominous vignettes shown on the brand. In the end, it turned out to be Dakota Kai who appeared at Halloween Havoc on October 26.

What's next for Elias remains unknown. He hasn't been active on social media, and there aren't many reports out there suggesting what his next move might be. We'll have to wait and see where he shows up and what WWE has planned for the four-time 24/7 Champion.

#2. Gable Steveson hasn't appeared after the 2021 WWE Draft

2021 Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Stevenson signed with WWE in September. WWE made moves quickly following the Tokyo Olympics.

Surprisingly, less than a month later, he was featured in the 2021 WWE Draft. Stevenson was drafted to RAW.

Steveson has an enormous amount of experience with amateur wrestling, but WWE is a whole new world. Right now, he'll be honing his craft at the Performance Center, ready to break out on the main roster after the college season.

WWE promoting him on the main roster might be a suggestion that his debut is sooner than expected. No doubt he is an exciting signing for WWE.

#1. Alexa Bliss hasn't appeared after the 2021 WWE Draft

Recently, Alexa Bliss has had an interesting run. She adopted supernatural powers from The Fiend and made the character her own with her doll Lilly.

Bliss last appeared at Extreme Rules in September, where she faced Charlotte Flair for the RAW Women's Title.

Bliss lost the match but, after the match, Flair ripped up her doll. Bliss was uncontrollably emotional and has not been seen on TV since.

Bliss will be off TV for several months while she undergoes sinus surgery. There's no reported timetable on when she will return.

In the storyline, she would want to get revenge on Charlotte for damaging Lilly. Bliss was drafted to RAW during the Draft and Charlotte to SmackDown, meaning a continuation of their story may not be in the works. Either way, we can't wait to see Alexa Bliss back on TV!
