When Punk left WWE in 2014, it took the wrestling world by storm. Several burning questions were answered by Punk himself months later when he appeared on his best friend Colt Cabana's podcast. Punk bashed WWE to the limit and took several shots at Vince McMahon and Triple H.
The former WWE Champion stated that he hated how Triple H didn't put him over in 2011 when he was the hottest Superstar in pro-wrestling. Punk also talked about his final meeting with Vince and Triple H, where the boss literally cried. After Punk's interview became public, it was reported that Triple H "wanted to kill Punk". Vince McMahon has stated multiple times that he would welcome Punk with open arms, but what will happen when Triple H takes the top spot?
With the kind of real-life animosity that exists between Triple H and Punk, one wonders whether they'll manage to shove their egos aside and work together in the future. Nevertheless, Punk himself doesn't seem to want to come back ever again, and would rather become a part of AEW, whose owner has stated that Punk is a good friend and the two parties have had talks in the past.

While he started writing WWE articles for Sportskeeda in 2019 as a hobby, it eventually became a significant part of his professional journey.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
