#4. WWE aims to expand and compete with Disney

WWE has been expanding and targeting new markets in regions like the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India in the past few years. However, the company aims to expand even more. According to CBO Stephanie McMahon, WWE wishes to compete with Disney.

The Billion Dollar Princess attended a web summit three years ago, where she received a question about where she sees the WWE brand ending up in the future.

"10-20-30 years from now, there’s no reason we can’t be as big [as] or bigger than Disney. Now that’s a tall order, especially given recent transactions. However, there’s no reason why we can’t get there. You have to dream big, have big, bold goals, and go after them," Stephanie answered.

WWE has launched several projects in the past few years, including the WWE Network. The company also produces several movies for its superstars, such as The Marine series.

Vince McMahon's company has continued its financial growth this year. One of the main reasons was WWE's deal with Peacock. Last April, Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen told CNBC that WWE wants to add more sponsorships and grow its e-commerce business.

WWE also earns nearly 40 million dollars per event in its 10-year-deal with Saudi Arabia. According to a report published by CNBC last August, if the company could succeed in its plan to secure more global media deals, its revenue could top a billion dollars.
