#1 Cain Velasquez defeats Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship

Could Cain Velasquez repeat history and defeat Brock Lesnar once again to capture his title?

Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar will collide in Saudi Arabia for the WWE Championship. If Cain wins, he'll make history by becoming the first person to win the prestigious title in his in-ring debut. Before signing with the company, Velasquez was an MMA fighter and a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

After Brock Lesnar, also a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, brutalized Rey and Dominik Mysterio on the season premiere of RAW, the masked Superstar introduced Cain to the WWE Universe after The Beast won the WWE Championship on the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown.

Nine years ago in UFC's Octagon, Cain knocked out Lesnar in the first round and took the latter's UFC Heavyweight Championship. At Crown Jewel, history could repeat itself, as Cain could defeat Lesnar once again, but this time it'll be for the WWE Championship.
