5 Things that must happen on the RAW, NXT, and SmackDown after Survivor Series

WWE needs to continue building a few Superstars after last weekend's events.

On Saturday, NXT delivered one of it’s greatest events ever in the form of TakeOver: WarGames, which was closely followed by the multi-branded Survivor Series event.

Both shows have marked the end of several top feuds and the beginning of others while simultaneously increasing the interest of the WWE Universe in several of the company's top Superstars. Superstars such as Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, and Keith Lee were probably the biggest winners from this past week’s events, and all eyes will be on them going forward.

The company will likely continue the build from Survivor Series and WarGames, and build the right Superstars and rivalries heading forward this week.

In this article, we will look at the 5 things that the company must do at their three top shows this week.

#5 Charlotte Flair calls out Asuka for a fight

One of the most interesting spots of the night saw an argument between Team RAW's Asuka and Charlotte Flair break out. This all led to Asuka spraying the green mist in Flair’s face before walking out on her team. Flair was then immediately pinned and eliminated by Lacey Evans. This saw RAW fall two Superstars short and go on to lose the match to Team NXT.

As we’ve already seen, Charlotte Flair developed differences with Asuka, and the two have previously teamed up with their partners to do battle. We could see Flair call out Asuka once again on RAW this week.

Flair could pair up with either Natalya or Becky Lynch and challenge Asuka and Kairi Sane for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match. This would allow the company to build Flair up in a different way, and possibly allow her to win the only women’s title that has eluded her.

On the other hand, if Flair teams up with Lynch, the company could give the RAW Women’s Championship scene a break, otherwise Lynch might soon end up exhausting all her competition.

#4 Rey Mysterio and Dominick attack 'The Beast'

Mysterio and his son tried to take out Lesnar, but were unsuccessful.

Rey Mysterio took on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, and the No Holds Barred stipulation allowed Mysterio’s son Dominick to try and help his father win the match.

After giving it their all, they still couldn’t slay 'The Beast,' as Lesnar delivered a German suplex to Dominick, planted Mysterio with the F-5, and successfully retained his title in an anticlimactic finish.

Some fans were left disappointed at the match's outcome, but the company could possibly continue this story further, as it has been one of the best storylines involving Brock Lesnar in a long time.

Since Lesnar actually switched brands just to go after Mysterio, the company should continue this storyline by allowing Mysterio and Dominick to jump Lesnar backstage on RAW and attack him in such brutal fashion that 'The Beast' appears vulnerable, even requiring hospitalization. This would allow the company to book a Handicap Match for the WWE Championship between the three at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, and possibly mark a good beginning to Dominick’s career.

With only three weeks left before the event, the company should cash in on the success it has recently earned after a successful Survivor Series, but take it one step further at TLC.

#3 Keith Lee steps up to the North American Champion

Keith Lee needs to continue his successful run.
Keith Lee needs to continue his successful run.

Keith Lee has managed to do almost everything it takes to make it big in the industry. The mammoth Superstar has the size and strength to get noticed every time he enters the arena and has unparalleled skills and athleticism.

At TakeOver: WarGames, Lee delivered one of the best performances of his career, as part of Team Ciampa and won the hearts of the NXT Universe. He carried the same spark at Survivor Series with Team NXT and managed to pin two-time Universal Champion Seth Rollins to leave a mark on the main roster.

Now that Lee will return to exclusive NXT competition, the company must use his current hype and success and book him against North American Champion Roderick Strong.

Lee challenged Strong for the North American Championship earlier in the month in a Triple Threat match with Dominic Dijakovic, but the company should cash in on Lee's individual potential by allowing him to go one-on-one with Strong.

If the company does see a future top star in Lee, they should continue this push and book him to hold a championship belt to test him before moving him to either RAW or SmackDown, where his character and persona is sure to get the entire WWE Universe behind him.

#2 Finn Balor sets his eyes on his next target

Balor needs to find another match
Balor needs to find another match.

Finn Balor did everything he could to leave a mark on NXT and overcame Matt Riddle in the process. Even though their rivalry was short-lived, it delivered what was needed and the match itself was a great one to get Balor back in the game.

Now that Balor is done with Matt Riddle, and Johnny Gargano still seems far from returning, the company must continue Balor’s return story and allow him to set his eyes on his next target.

With NXT currently short on top babyfaces, we could see Balor go after the huge Dominic Dijakovic or even come after Pete Dunne. Either man could help Balor build on his current storyline and help him build his heel character, as they are top babyfaces who could survive a loss.

Whoever the company has its eyes on for Balor must step up this week on NXT to ensure that the story that has been built continues to allow 'The Prince of NXT' to quickly rise the ranks and restore his dominance on the Black & Gold brand.

#1 Daniel Bryan calls out The Fiend once again

Bryan proved to be a great opponent for The Fiend.

Daniel Bryan managed to build an intriguing rivalry with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt in a very short period of time. On the side, Bryan continued to build a rivalry with The Miz, which we will likely watch unfold sooner rather than later, but the company must keep it on the side for some time longer.

Bryan and The Fiend had a good match at Survivor Series, and even though Wyatt managed to come out on top, Bryan gave him a decent fight.

The company should allow Bryan to continue this rivalry a bit longer, especially considering that TLC in just a few weeks away. Building another quick feud with another top Superstar may not be in Wyatt's best interests, nor will it do the Universal Championship any favors.

Instead, continuing this storyline for just a few more weeks could give fans some more brilliant work on the mic from both Bryan and Wyatt, while simultaneously protecting other top Superstars from The Fiend - at least for now.

It would also allow the company to end this feud properly rather than after only one single match, and by the time it concludes, the company could build a proper next challenger for The Fiend and his Universal Championship.
