5 Things WWE can do after Bobby Lashley and Lana's wedding incident 

The wedding between Lana and Bobby Lashley played out on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW and it was everything fans thought it ever could be and then some. The wedding ceremony came complete with shock interruptions from the bride and grooms' former lovers, a revelation that rocked the WWE Universe to it's core, and Rusev coming out of a cake to get his hands on Bobby Lashley.

The whole thing ended in a brawl before the couple could say "I do," leaving fans with many questions as to what would happen next. Furthermore, it left fans wondering why the events played out the way they did and what exactly WWE was trying to reveal in the process.

Who wouldn't want to see Bobby Lashley dump Lana?

After watching Lana berate the wedding official and drone on about not wanting to make ugly babies that couldn't compare to her, who wouldn't want to see Bobby Lashley just leave her? Furthermore, who would blame him, if he eventually did after all of this mess unfolds?

While this outcome seems to be a way off, especially since Lana and Lashley aren't even technically married yet, one has to imagine this as a possibility, especially in light of recent events.

Again, it's probably going to take awhile to get to this outcome, but it's going to be interesting to watch what unfolds and how. It will also be entertaining to see how Liv Morgan ends up fitting into all of this, how her recent revelations might affect the couple, and how she comes out on the other side, but that's another story for another time.

#4 Have Lana and Rusev get back together

Is WWE going somewhere with this?

That is the question the WWE Universe is forced to ask themselves after watching this storyline play out over the last couple of months, and last week's wedding segment only offered more questions than answers. The biggest by far, however, is what exactly does WWE plan to do next with this sordid love angle?

While WWE's multiple swerves throughout the segment gave the company limitless possibilities going forward, what if they want to play things more conservatively? In fact, what if the wedding not finishing is WWE's way of giving themselves a temporary out to try and get Lana and Rusev back together?

Why else would Rusev interrupt the wedding after willingly getting a divorce from Lana, so she could be with Bobby Lashley? Why else would WWE not go through with the wedding? If nothing else, there is a purpose behind all of this and while it originally seemed like the point was to align Lana with Lashley, it could all be a little bit more complicated than that.

Believe it or not, it seems like WWE is playing the long game here and trying to create a situation where Lana and Rusev eventually get back together. This allows for Lana to work as Lashley's heat magnet for awhile, Rusev can use his divorce to gain sympathy, and then WWE can brings them back together somehow.

#3 Liv Morgan and Rusev get together

What if Liv Morgan and Rusev got together?

Liv Morgan hadn't been on WWE TV for months, but the company changed all that by putting her in the middle of the love triangle between Lana, Rusev, and Bobby Lashley. Whether that turns out to be a good thing or not remains to be seen and will depend on what WWE does with her going forward.

Of course some fans are going to want WWE to go all out after the revelation of the decade was made during the last RAW of the year, but what would be the point, if it didn't make sense? If nothing else the company might need to go back to the drawing board and try to figure out how they are going to make this work.

One way WWE can accomplish this is by having Rusev and Liv Morgan team up for the time being and maybe even tease a relationship angle between the two. The company can script it as a sort of soap opera, which they already seem to be doing with this storyline, and it could help fans get behind Morgan as a result.

It can also start to make Lana jealous to see Rusev with another woman, causing her to go to great lengths to get her former husband back.

#2 Redo the wedding

The wedding between Bobby Lashley and Lana on Monday turned out to be a glorified heat magnet, but that is exactly what the company needed. It even allowed the company to introduce Liv Morgan into the storyline as Lana's secret lover, which definitely altered the landscape quite a bit.

Beyond that, it also once again proved that while Lana might be a terrible actor, she is still able to use that attribute in order to get heat. In fact, between talking about never wanting children and even stating how ugly and imperfect they would be compared to her, Lana did a great job of making everyone hate her.

From her overreactions to every single misstep, to her literally writing Bobby Lashley's vows for him, she did a great job of stringing the audience along. So why not redo the wedding, make Lana even more of an over exaggerated caricature and use the moment to garner some massive heat?

At least that way, WWE gets one more chance at getting the fans firmly behind Rusev, Morgan can continue to benefit from being in the storyline, and the WWE Universe can relive the wedding of the year!

#1 Reveal that Lana is still in love with Liv Morgan

Should Lana and Liv Morgan just get together?

WWE pulled a lot of interesting swerves during Lana and Bobby Lashley's wedding Monday night and one of the most important had to be that Liv Morgan and Lana were once lovers. Not only was it the first time in years that WWE has done a LGBTQ storyline, it was also something fans were legitimately not expecting.

In all honesty, Liv Morgan returning as Lana's secret lover was never really hinted at in her vignettes, which made her eventual revelation a legitimate shocker. It was literally the one thing the WWE Universe wouldn't see coming and WWE was able to take full advantage of that.

As long as WWE remains respectful in their portrayal of Liv Morgan's character, the company should have free range as to what they do with her. In fact, WWE could probably even have Lana reveal that she is still in love with Liv Morgan, and build upon that part of the story.

In the end, this is a groundbreaking storyline and could set the stage for more of them being done in the future. This could also be what helps Morgan really come into her own on the main roster and get the television time she needs in order to win over fans.
