Tonight, the Superstars of WWE will invade the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.

Just six days away from WWE Stomping Grounds, tonight show is crucial for everyone set to compete.

A stacked show already, tonight's edition of RAW will see a special appearance by a former World Champion, as well as a new number one contender be crowned for the United States title.

Plenty has already been announced for tonight's three-hour spectacular, but the WWE Universe should still expect some surprises along the way.

Here are five things you need to know before tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.

#5 Momentum builds towards Stomping Grounds

Will Lacey Evans or Becky Lynch gain the momentum heading into their RAW Women's Title rematch this Sunday at Stomping Grounds?
Will Lacey Evans or Becky Lynch gain the momentum heading into their RAW Women's Title rematch this Sunday at Stomping Grounds?

The Superstars of the red brand may be preparing for tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW, but for many, they also need to look ahead to this Sunday's pay per view, Stomping Grounds.

The first show under the moniker, plenty of matches have been announced for the event, as Superstars from RAW, SmackDown Live and 205 Live aim to claim championship gold.

Becky Lynch, for example, will be hoping to keep her RAW Women's title reign alive when she faces off against nemesis Lacey Evans, whilst Drew McIntyre hopes to get some revenge on Roman Reigns after the big Dog toppled the sinister Scotsman at WrestleMania 35.

Tonight the men and women of RAW will aim to get some last-minute advantage heading into the pay per view, and with the biggest party of the Summer, Summerslam around the corner, a win at Stomping Grounds is a must.

#4 The Wild Card comes to RAW

One half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Bryan will be a part of RAW tonight
One half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Bryan will be a part of RAW tonight

As one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan represents the blue brand well, but that hasn't stopped the Eco-Warrior from being chosen as one of the Wild Cards to appear on Monday Night RAW tonight.

Though Bryan will be appearing, there's been no mention of his tag partner Erick Rowan, though don't be surprised if the mastodon doesn't also appear tonight to give his partner/mentor the edge.

It's been over a month since Daniel Bryan competed on Monday Night RAW? Will the former YES! Man lace up his boots once again tonight, and if so, who will he target?

Whoever he picks, expect Bryan to be in a foul mood as usual as he lambasts both his fellow Superstars as well as the WWE Universe.

#3 Five-man collision for championship glory

Strowman, Miz, Ricochet, Cesaro and Lashley will compete tonight with a fantastic prize up for grabs.
Strowman, Miz, Ricochet, Cesaro and Lashley will compete tonight with a fantastic prize up for grabs.

WWE Stomping Grounds may be just six days away, but there's plenty that can happen between now and this Sunday.

And though many titles are already announced to be on the line at the show, one Champion omitted is US Champion Samoa Joe, though this will soon change.

Tonight, five of Monday Night RAW's very best Superstars will face off in competition, with the winning getting a shot at WWE Stomping Grounds for Joe's United States Title.

Will it be a former United States Champion like Lashley Miz or Cesaro, each of whom are hungry to once again taste singles gold?

Or perhaps it'll be Strowman or Ricochet who will snag the win, and in doing so, a chance to start their first reign with the Star Spangled Strap.

#2 The Top Guys are on top once again

The Revival reclaimed the RAW Tag Team Championships on last week's RAW.
The Revival reclaimed the RAW Tag Team Championships on last week's RAW.

When Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins won the RAW Tag Team titles on the WrestleMania 35 pre-show, nobody was more surprised than the former champs The Revival.

After all, it had been the team's own hubris that had led Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder to putting the titles on the line in the first place, as their belief that the two jobbers couldn't beat them proved to be their undoing.

Last week though, the self-proclaimed Top Guys took their place back on top, defeating Hawkins and Ryder for the gold, in a match which also featured the Usos.

What will Dash and Dawson have to say about their second RAW Tag title reign tonight? And which team will be the first to step up to challenge the new champs?

#1 Who will the Constable pick?

Who will Baron Corbin pick to officiate his title match at Stomping Grounds?
Who will Baron Corbin pick to officiate his title match at Stomping Grounds?

WWE Super Showdown may not have gone how Baron Corbin had intended, but according to the former RAW General Manager, it wasn't his fault.

During his match against Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Corbin got in the face of referee John Cone, forcing the senior official to shove back, causing Corbin to be rolled up.

Blaming the entirety of his loss on Cone (conveniently forgetting his own actions), Corbin does have a chance to become champion this Sunday when he takes on Rollins at Stomping Ground.

As if that isn't enough, Corbin will also get to pick the special guest referee for the match, a mysterious person the former US Champion will reveal tonight

With Corbin's size and special guest referee giving him the advantage, could tonight be the final RAW as Universal Champion for the Architect?
