Can we see a McIntyre vs Kingston match in WWE in 2019?

What a transformation both these men have had in the past few years. It has been an inspiring journey for both Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston, and their hard work and resilience has been rewarded by WWE. This match wouldn't see any change in their characters, although now McIntyre is a badass, psychotic heel, and Kofi might be the biggest babyface in the company.

10 years ago, these two superstars were no way near the main-event scene and were floundering in the mid-card ever since they made their debut. Look at how far they have come. Wouldn't it be a great time to have Kofi and drew feud against each other, now that they are the top players in WWE? After McIntyre made his WWE debut, he was able to be the Intercontinental Champion for 161 days. But interestingly, it was Kofi Kingston who would go on to defeat McIntyre and win the Intercontinental Championship.

Years later, Kofi is now the WWE Champion, and McIntyre is certainly a future world champion in the making. Will we be able to see another feud between these two men? It is still unlikely, as Drew is being touted to the Rollins' next challenger. But given what happened last week on SmackDown, there can be speculations. After all the Superstar shake-up takes place next week.
