#2 Damian Priest says he has "survivor's guilt" after recent WWE releases

United States Champion Damian Priest has commented on the WWE releases that have happened this year. During a recent interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, he revealed that he feels "survivor's guilt" following the releases of so many superstars.

"It’s unfortunate, obviously. It is not just our business – it’s in any business, that’s just the way it goes," Damian Priest said. "I’ve lost more jobs and more opportunities that I can count. That’s the unfortunate part of life. Especially in a business where you’re living your dream – so it hurts, because we care about these people. We know they’re hurting, so we hurt. It’s unfortunate. It’s like that survivors guilt – you feel guilty."

Priest has been highly protected on the main roster so far. At WWE Survivor Series 2021, he will face Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and is expected to come out victorious.

#1 Braun Strowman comments on starting a new promotion with Bray Wyatt

Two of the biggest names released by Vince McMahon's promotion this year are Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. Both are former Universal Champions and many expected them to be WWE lifers.

Recently, a fan claimed that if Strowman, Wyatt, and Karrion Kross teamed up to start their own wrestling promotion, many wrestlers would be interested in joining them.

Braun Strowman had an interesting response to this tweet from the fan and replied "Watch us work" with a wink emoji. Strowman and Wyatt have famously worked together in WWE as part of The Wyatt Family. They also had a long feud against each other in 2020 for the Universal title.
