Edge made his return at the 2020 Royal Rumble
Ever since Edge's return to WWE at last year's Royal Rumble, people have been fantasy booking him in different matches that he could have during his second run. Apart from the Royal Rumble match, he has only had two singles bouts since his return, and both of them were against Randy Orton. Unfortunately, Edge suffered a torn triceps injury at last year's Backlash event, which effectively put him on the shelf.

It was predicted that Edge would be out for six to eight months, which means that he may come back to WWE anytime now. An interesting rivalry that fans might want to see rekindled would be that of the Rated-R Superstar and the Cenation leader.
The feud between Edge and John Cena is still considered to be one of the best rivalries in WWE history. Both of them became huge stars, as a result. Now that they have achieved the legendary status that they were destined to reach, it might finally be time to revisit their rivalry for one last match.
Even though it can be argued that Edge should face younger WWE Superstars in fresh matchups, a match featuring John Cena and Edge may sell-out an entire arena. With Edge vs. John Cena, WWE fans could be in for an exciting bout at the Showcase of the Immortals.

While Edge was a despised villain for the majority of his first run with WWE, Zain loved his commitment to the character. He admired his ability to narrate a compelling story with his subtle moves and actions inside the ring. He believes no one in the business has come close to the Hall of Famer in terms of staying true to their on-screen gimmick.
If Zain were to book an eye-catching WWE angle, he would pit Cody Rhodes against CM Punk. Zain would have Rhodes highlight Punk’s hypocrisy in coming back to the global juggernaut. Their interaction would lead to Punk turning heel and engaging in a high-profile match with The American Nightmare at a Big Four Premium Live Event.
