WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his big return to the company at this year's Royal Rumble event. The Rated-R Superstar had been away from the ring for nine years, and his return was a genuine surprise for the WWE Universe.
Edge went on to have a heated rivalry with former tag team partner Randy Orton and defeated him at WrestleMania 36. Edge suffered an injury during his rematch against Orton at Backlash, and it was estimated that he would be out for six to eight months.
Dave Meltzer has noted that Edge would be ready to compete by the time WrestleMania arrives. There's a possibility that Edge could win the 2021 Royal Rumble and go on to challenge Randy Orton for the WWE title at The Show of Shows. Earlier, it was planned that Edge and Orton would meet in an "I Quit" match in the main event of WrestleMania, but the plans changed a handful of times in the past. Currently, there's nothing set in stone in regards to the main event of WrestleMania 37.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
