Baron Corbin's character work has allowed him to become one of the most despised characters amongst the WWE Universe for some time now. This has allowed WWE to continue using him to play the heel for the WWE Universe on several occasions. We haven’t seen him turn face for years now, and it seems like he’s more comfortable as a heel at the moment.

During an episode of After The Bell with Corey Graves, the former NXT sensation revealed that Corbin had legitimate heat with several Superstars who were going through the WWE’s developmental circuit, including Seth Rollins.

Corbin was known as “Football Tom” by many due to his background in football at the time. Graves recalled the time when several developmental talents were unhappy with the fact that he had more money than them, and he took advantage of the rumors to show off $20,000 in cash during a promo class.

Graves used to ride with Rollins and Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) at the time and recalled that Rollins in particular did not like The King one bit.

“I remember going, ‘Guys, I think Football Tom… he might not be so bad.’ ‘Wait, what are you talking about?’ Rollins going, ‘What, no way?’ ‘No, he was asking about how we survived in the indies,’ and that was kind of all any of us wanted [Corbin to show he was serious].”

Both men have now grown a lot over the years and may have put their differences aside, but there was a time when there was some real-life heat between Rollins and the King of the Ring tournament winner.
