Another Superstar who has been terribly unlucky with injuries recently is former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal. The Modern Day Maharaja only returned to WWE in April after sitting out 10 months due to a knee injury. Mahal had to get surgery on his knee which caused him to miss a big chunk of the last year.

Sadly, he has suffered yet another knee injury and he had to undergo yet another surgery. He has gone under the knife and may miss the rest of 2020 to rehab. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer revealed that the injury was thought to be minor but it wasn't:

"Jinder Mahal had knee surgery. This was actually several days ago, and I think it was supposed to be minor, but it ended up being a lot more serious, so it's pretty significant."

Mahal was reportedly set to have a feud with his former 3MB partner and current WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. The former WWE Champion was to face McIntyre as WWE believes that there is a lack of heels on RAW currently.
