Professional wrestling is an art in itself. As it takes two hands to clap, a wrestling classic cannot be produced with only one skillful wrestler. All the wrestlers involved in the match are responsible for the overall quality of the match. As a wrestler, you are not only responsible for your own safety but also that of your opponent.

Injuries and wrestlers walk hand in hand. Botches are almost inevitable considering the fact that these wrestlers are part of more than 200 matches in a year. However, few of these wrestlers have found themselves a culprit of either hurting their opponents or even themselves on multiple occasions.

While most of these wrestlers are one of the most excellent workers in the ring, they still have garnered a lot of hate in the past for their botches. Here are 5 WWE Superstars who have had serious botches in recent times.

#5 Brie Bella

The Bellas have been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism in the past few years. Brie Bella, in particular, received a lot of flack for her last run in the company. Brie Bella has proved to be dangerous not only for her opponents but could have severely injured herself as well.

One of the most notable incidents occurred on September 24, 2018, edition of Raw where the Bella Twins teamed up with Natalya to take on the Riott Squad. When Brie was performing the signature Yes! Kicks on Liv Morgan, she ended up kicking Liv Morgan on the face twice. The move almost knocked out Morgan who was barely able to tag her teammates so she could be attended by WWE officials at the ringside.

#4 Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks' reckless style has proved to be dangerous not just for her opponents, but herself as well.

Sasha Banks has proved herself to be one of the best in-ring workers in WWE. She has put forward one of the best matches of the Women's division and has been an influential figure in the Women's Revolution. In her 4 years run on the main roster, Banks has won the Raw Women's Championship a record 4 times.

Despite her incredible feats, the Boss is infamous for her reckless style in the ring. In fact, WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley even requested Banks to avoid doing the suicide dive.

One of the low points of her career came in 2017 where Sasha Banks was held responsible for ending Paige's career. During a house show, Banks landed a kick on Paige's back after which the latter had trouble getting to her feet. The injury proved to a very serious one as Paige was forced to retire from professional following that incident.

#3 Seth Rollins

Despite being one of the most consistent performers in WWE since his debut on the main roster, Seth Rollins isn't always near the definition of safe. Well, at least that is what Bret Hart must feel about Rollins.

The Hitman openly called Rollins an unsafe worker for busting open John Cena on an edition of Raw. Hart even went on to claim that Rollins could have killed Cena with his reckless knee. Bret Hart knows a thing or two about injuries as his own career was ended due to the injuries he sustained during a match against Goldberg.

The Architect has more unfortunate incidents corresponding to his name as he also injured Sting during their bout at Night of Champions in 2015. The injury put an end to a 30-year-long run the Icon had in the professional wrestling. At SummerSlam 2016, the Kingslayer was again held responsible for injuring Finn Balor forcing him to relinquish the Universal Championship just a day after winning it.

#2 Nia Jax

Nia Jax is one of the most hated wrestlers in WWE right now. A major reason behind this hate can be credited to the stiff punch she threw at Becky Lynch on Raw, just a week before the latter's highly anticipated match against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series 2019. The punch caused a legit concussion and Lynch was pulled from the match.

However, the Irresistible Force has been credited as an unsafe wrestler long before the above incident. Jax was also held responsible for injuring Bayley just a week before her match with the then Raw Women's champion, Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam 2016.

At the Evolution PPV, Jax gorilla slammed Zelina Vega out of the ring during a battle royal for a future women's championship match. The fall was so bad for Vega that she suffered a concussion.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Nobody can deny the fact that Brock Lesnar is one of the most stiff wrestlers in WWE. Since his return to the company in 2012, Lesnar has busted open a handful of superstars such as John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns. Due to his MMA experience, Brock Lesnar is portrayed as a brawler, relying more on his strikes.

However, the Beast Incarnate is infamous for his stiff wrestling style. The first incident occurred on Lesnar's second appearance on Raw since his return in 2012. Lesnar was involved in a brawl with John Cena in which Lesnar landed few stiff shots on Cena. The Anomaly even busted open the Cenation Leader in the first few minutes of their match at Extreme Rules in 2012.

At SummerSlam 2016, Lesnar defeated Orton via TKO after continuous elbows to the latter's head. Orton was seen bleeding heavily from his head as the elbow shots cut him open.
