5 WWE Superstars who will never wrestle for another company

2019 already looks to be an explosive year for wrestling with the world outside of WWE set for a revival of sorts, with several WWE Superstars requesting their release as they look to join the revolution.

It's a very exciting time, but it's also a very uncertain one. WWE is notorious for stockpiling talent and, with so many shows and the risk of injuries, you can kind of see why - but this does come with its pitfalls.

When you have so much talent in one place, it's only logical that not everyone can hit the top and achieve their full potential - and of course, that leaves others unhappy. However, some Superstars are at the top of the chain and will never leave, some are happy where they are and enjoy the security - and some are just loyal to the company regardless.

Is the grass greener on the other side? Quite simply, it depends. Some wrestlers will take the risk and check, some would rather not risk there being no grass on the other side at all.

Chris Jericho laid down a hefty precedent in late 2017 when he appeared in New Japan Pro Wrestling, challenging Kenny Omega, and subsequently appearing in a non-WWE wrestling ring for the first time shortly after. Since then, he's appeared at ALL IN and recently shocked the world by signing with AEW despite allegedly being offered a WWE deal.

Chris Jericho, though, is not the exception, with stars like Dean Ambrose and The Revival reportedly seeking new adventures - so is there anyone who will definitely stay in WWE no matter what? Sure, and I have five names right now who will never wrestle outside of WWE.

#5 The Undertaker

Undertaker is a staple of WWE
Undertaker is a staple of WWE

Now, where else could we start? The Undertaker is Mr. WWE. The character of The Undertaker has never been seen outside WWE, and the man behind the persona very rarely had until recently as well.

The Deadman is a staple of WWE and, while he may have been through a very gruelling battle with Father Time, it looks like he's come out the other end unscathed if his Crown Jewel and Super Show-Down performances are anything to go by.

We may very well have seen the last of the Undertaker but then again, we all thought that back when Roman Reigns defeated him in 2017 at WrestleMania, prompting a whole year to pass before Taker would take on John Cena. However, you wouldn't bet against The Deadman making a triumphant return at any point in time, just with one strike of a gong.

Will we ever see Undertaker in the squared circle again? If we do, it'll definitely be in a WWE ring.

#4 Kane

Will Kane be back?
Will Kane be back?

From one veteran staple of WWE to another - a character never to be seen outside of WWE in any form, and one that never will be seen outside of WWE. Kane and Undertaker are undoubtedly the two exceptions to the rule on this list in that they may never wrestle again, but you also wouldn't bet against either wrestling someday.

The Big Red Machine has been used sparingly ever since Glenn Jacobs, the man behind the mask, announced he'd be running for Mayor of Knox County. Kane had said he wouldn't continue to wrestle if elected and, while it's been very rare that we have seen Kane in a WWE ring, we have seen him - and it's always been under a mask.

The reason for this? Most definitely to separate Kane from Jacobs and determine one as a character to avoid confusion with the politician - with the legendary star even scrambling for his mask when it came off accidentally at WWE Crown Jewel.

Kane did very recently appear in a WWE ring, though, but as Glenn Jacobs completely out of character. Whether we see him wrestling again is another question. If he does, though, it'll be in WWE.

#3 John Cena

Hustle... LOYALTY... Respect
Hustle... LOYALTY... Respect

Of course, John Cena is on this list. I mean, "Loyalty" is his middle name.

Well, it's actually the middle word of his motto, but never mind.

We may see a lot less of the 16-time World Champion than we have over previous years, but John Cena is still WWE through and through. While the transition to Hollywood may almost be complete, Cena has always called WWE his home and stated how grateful he is to WWE for making him who he is and providing him with the opportunities he's earned in life.

While John Cena may wrestle a lot less now than he used to, Mr. Hustle Loyalty Respect is 100% WWE and will not wrestle for another promotion - despite the similarities between himself and Jericho when it comes to breaking down boundaries and pushing innovation.

When he retires, John Cena will retire as a WWE Superstar.

#2 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns will return to WWE
Roman Reigns will return to WWE

While Roman Reigns bowed out of WWE on October 22nd, 2018, relinquishing his Universal Championship and stepping away from the ring as he battles Leukaemia, The Big Dog vowed that he will be back.

Like John Cena, Roman Reigns is the face of WWE for a generation, calling the squared circle his yard - and he's still firmly in the hearts of the WWE Universe. With signs looking good for Reigns on his recovery with appearances booked and a role in the Hobbs and Shaw movie, where he'll make his acting debut alongside The Rock, things are looking up for Reigns - and you'd have to think that the space between him and a return to the squared circle is only a matter of time away.

When Roman Reigns returns, you'd have to bet that he'll be in WWE to stay. As the face of the company, The Big Dog would be in the most coveted position in wrestling, and there's no way he'd ever go anywhere else.

#1 Triple H

Triple H is WWE through and through
Triple H is WWE through and through

There was simply no other option for number one. The Game will never wrestle outside of WWE. When his wrestling days are up, you can bet that Triple H will be just as big a part of WWE as he is now, as the head of NXT and COO of the company - at the very least.

With The Game poised to one day take over the throne of WWE, he's there for life barring any incredibly exceptional circumstances. But you'd have to bet that Triple H's wrestling days are far from over.

With the veteran fighting through a severe pectoral injury to complete his match at Crown Jewel and recovering in super-quick time, you'd have to think a comeback for The Game is on the cards quicker than anyone could have ever imagined.

And with Triple H's recent WrestleMania rivalries propelling the likes of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to another level, his cocktail of in-ring prowess, incredible heel demeanour and authority role make The Game the ultimate foil for any up and comer - skills he'll hone in WWE until the day he retires.

Do you agree with these choices? Who do you think could leave WWE or stay for life? Let us know in the comments.
