The WWE Superstar Shake-Up has come and gone. WWE made some really good decisions like bringing AJ Styles to RAW and sending Roman Reigns to SmackDown.

However, WWE also made some baffling decisions during the Superstar Shake-Up. Without further ado, let's take a look at some of them.

#6 Moving Eric Young to RAW

We start off our list with one of the most bewildering moves of the Superstar Shake-Up. This move was not even done on television like a lot of other moves, which always begs the question - how long does it really take to announce all the moves?

Young moving to RAW means that SAnitY is done. One of the most interesting factions to have come out of NXT were neutered on SmackDown since their move to the main roster during last year's Shake-Up. It's unlikely that EY will find success on his own on RAW especially when you look at how heel-heavy the roster is now, more on this in the next point.

#5 Stacking RAW with upper mid-card heels

If you haven't had a chance to look at the RAW roster check it out, it's packed with heels while SmackDown looks like its roster does not have enough. Let's just take a cursory look at some of the heels on the red brand - Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, Andrade amongst a whole lot of others. Samoa Joe looks set to make his RAW debut next week too.

It looked like Drew McIntyre was going to move to SmackDown but it looks like WWE decided to keep him on RAW.

#4 Breaking up the Riott Squad

The Riott Squad were going from strength to strength on WWE RAW as its leader Ruby Riott climbed up the pecking order as a singles competitor with Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan backing her up. I was absolutely gutted when I found out that the Riott Squad were broken up during the Superstar Shake-Up with Liv Morgan moving to SmackDown off-screen.

The worst part about this is there isn't any obvious reason behind this. SmackDown have a really strong women's division now and let's hope that Liv Morgan doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

#3 Where's Pete Dunne?

A lot of people expected Pete Dunne to get called up to the main roster after his nearly 2-year reign as NXT UK Champion ended. Although the reason WWE may have kept Dunne off the Shake-Up because he has a rematch with WALTER left, it still makes no sense. Dunne could have been introduced to the main roster audience while more fans had eyes on the product.

#2 Renaming the War Raiders to the Viking Experience

This one is just baffling. The reason behind changing the name of the War Raiders to the Viking Experience is reportedly because WWE doesn't want to use the word "war" on the main roster.

That begs the question, why did WWE rename War Machine to War Raiders on NXT instead of keeping the word 'War' off their names completely. Also, the Viking Experience is a terrible name, like some kind of Norse-themed cruise.

#1 Too many moves announced on social media

What is with WWE and announcing multiple Superstar Shake-Up moves on social media after RAW and SmackDown? How can they not take a few moments aside to announce all the moves during 5 hours of television?

How many fans actually constantly follow the WWE's social media platforms to keep up with news?
