While Roman Reigns has several options to explore on SmackDown, one particular feud has been in the making for five years. Back in 2014, Seth Rollins shocked the world when he betrayed Reigns and Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley), leading to the Shield splitting up.

A year later, he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during Roman Reigns’ title match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. Rollins would then win the world title, an act fondly remembered as the Heist of the Century.

Since then, both superstars have enjoyed a lot of success in WWE. Rollins has already made it clear that he will go after the Universal Championship should he win the Money in the Bank contract.

He also stated that he would pursue a title match against Roman Reigns regardless of the results tonight. This is the first time the latter is also a heel, and he has more than enough reasons to make Rollins pay for everything he has done in the past.

The mere nostalgia surrounding this feud is enough to turn into a classic, but their history is not the only reason WWE should book their rivalry. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins can finally put an end to WWE’s hesitance in involving two heels in a feud. It is one of the most important things that should happen if the Universal Championship doesn’t change hands at Money in the Bank.

#1 Roman Reigns’ dream match against The Rock and/or John Cena

Could we see either of these two legendary WWE superstars return for a dream match with Roman Reigns?
Could we see either of these two legendary WWE superstars return for a dream match with Roman Reigns?

After turning heel in WWE, Roman Reigns went ahead and established himself as the Tribal Chief of his family. He also called himself the “Head of the Table,” which led many fans to wonder about The Rock’s response to such bold claims. Fans hope to see the two superstars belonging to a different generation battle it out for the supreme status of the family.

To witness the match between The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania would be icing on the cake. Unfortunately, The Brahma Bull's busy Hollywood schedule and the risk of potential injury inside the ring leave a very slim chance for this match to happen.

Roman Reigns has another such opponent in John Cena. The last time both superstars met, Cena insulted Reigns for his promo skills. Things will be different this time as the Universal Champion is now on a whole other level as a heel. It would be great to see him finally convincingly beat Cena and still have the crowd cheer for him.
