Dean Ambrose is now a free agent. Some reports have suggested that he will return in 6 months to WWE and that he is on a sabbatical. Other reports have suggested that AEW has offered him a 6 Million Dollar Contract. While that is not confirmed, he is one of the biggest WWE stars that is now a free agent and it makes sense for AEW to try to sign him

Like Sasha Banks, Dean Ambrose felt let down by WWE Creative and that their changes to his character were for nothing. They turned him heel soon after Roman Reigns Leukemia diagnosis, which didn't sit well with him. His feud with Seth Rollins went nowhere.
