AEW All Out: Hikaru Shida (C) vs Thunder Rosa (for the AEW Women's Championship)

AEW All Out had a fast-paced start to the match with both ladies keeping pace with each other and matching each other toe to toe. Thunder Rosa caught Hikaru Shida with a jumping elbow strike before catching her in the back of the head with a right hand.

Shida wasn't down for long and hit back with a back suplex, forcing Thunder Rosa to roll out. Shida followed her out and caught her with her trademark running knee lift.

Thunder Rosa hit back, sending Shida back-first into the ring post. The champ locked in a sleeper hold and took Thunder Rosa down. The NWA Women's Champion replied with a hanging pendulum submission.

Shida looked to reply with a Falcon Arrow but Rosa was a step ahead of her and rolled her up. Thunder Rosa then hit a Death Valley Driver on the apron for a nearfall.

The finish of the match saw Shida hitting a driver of her own. She then caught Thunder Rosa with her patented running knee strike and pinned her to retain the AEW Women's Championship at AEW All Out.
