Chris Jericho revealed the "Lexicon of Le Champion"

This week's episode of AEW Dynamite was headlined by Jon Moxley and Joey Janela in their first match on Dynamite. We also had Pentagon Jr taking on Christopher Daniels as well as The Young Bucks and Dustin Rhodes taking on Proud & Powerful and Sammy Guevara.

The Young Bucks and Dustin Rhodes vs Santana, Ortiz and Sammy Guevara

Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara started the match for their teams. 'The Natural' took control of the match for his team early on with Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson coming in for a triple superkick. Matt Jackson followed it up with a couple of Northern Lights suplexes to Sammy Guevara. He followed it up with a double Northern Lights suplex to Guevara and Santana. Jackson went to add Ortiz to his next Northern Lights Suplex but this proved to be too much and the members of the Inner Circle crowded around him and pounded him into the mat.

Dustin Rhodes came back in to change the tide once again for his team, dishing out 3 powerslams in a row. He then headed to the top rope and took out Santana, Ortiz and Guevara with a cross body splash. Guevara briefly had Dustin where he wanted him and hit him with a 450 Splash for a nearfall.

Rhodes kicked out and tagged in Jackson who cleared the ring for his team. Guevara briefly found another opening for his team but he took his eyes off the prize and took out his phone before he headed to the top rope. As he came down from the top rope, Guevara was hit by stereo Superkicks from the Young Bucks. The Bucks and Goldust then finished the Inner Circle off with a double Meltzer Driver into a senton before pinning Guevara.

Trent vs Fenix

Trent and Fenix tore the house down in the second match of the night, taking each other to the limit. Fenix dominated most of the match including the early stages, taking the fight straight to Trent.

Trent didn't take the offense lying down and kept coming back into the match. Fenix kept pulling out his incredible high-flying offense, showing the fans exactly what he was capable of. As Fenix tossed Trent into the barricade at one point during the match, Trent cut Fenix in half with a Spear.

The two kept throwing everything they had at each other but in the end, it was Fenix who left with the win. Fenix hit Trent with a Mexican Muscle Buster before pinning him for the win.

Things got even more heated after the match as Trent went to shake his opponent's hand. Fenix refused and pushed Trent away which left to Trent attacking him. Chuckie T got involved and managed to pull Trent away from Fenix.

Cody calls out MJF

Cody was in the ring with Tony Schiavone. He said that he hasn't been having a good time of late which included last weeks beating at the hands of the Butcher and the Blade. He called out Butcher and Blade, saying that if they had wanted a match they should have just asked for one.

Cody added that when he needed someone to back him up, they were busy with their own issues including Dustin and The Bucks' blood feud with the Inner Circle. Cody then called out his former best friend MJF who threw in the towel at Full Gear during his match with Chris Jericho.

Cody said that the decision to thrown in the towel should have been his and his alone before going on to address the fact that MJF had said he would never wrestle Cody. Cody said that he was really to entice MJF into the match and offered him his Ford Truck, his Timepiece as well as over $50,000 in cash.

Will MJF take the bait and end up wrestling Cody? It certainly looks like we will get it eventually although AEW are playing it slow for the moment which is pretty definitely the correct decision.

Nyla Rose vs Leva Bates

Nyla made short work of Bates, taking her out with a boot as soon as the bell rang. Peter Avalon tried to get involved at this point but unsuccessfully. Rose hit Avalon and Bates with a double chokeslam before pinning Bates following a Beast Bomb.

Shanna came out to confront Rose after the match but got taken out with a powerslam for her troubles. Rose then took out a table and the referee tried to stop her. Rose ended up sending the referee through the table.

Chris Jericho addresses future challengers

Chris Jericho was out next and he called out the people of Champagne, IL saying that no one from the city had done anything of note. He then moved on to announce that he was contractually obligated to be in one more match in 2019 on the last Dynamite of the year. He unveiled his new list, "The Lexicon of Le Champion", containing a list of the names of people he refused to face.

Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt came out to interrupt Jericho. Jericho ran down all three members of the Jurassic Express including Jungle Boy. Jericho called Jungle Boy unworthy of facing him and said that he wouldn't even last 10 minutes in the ring with him. Jungle Boy wasn't going to back down from the AEW World Champion and slapped him across the face.

This led to a scuffle that forced Jericho and Hager to make their way out of the ring. Le Champion threw a trademark tantrum at ringside before making his way out of the arena. We will see Chris Jericho going one on one with Jungle Boy on the December 18th episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite.

Kris Statlander vs Hikaru Shida

Kris Statlander was all over Hikaru Shida in the opening stages of the match, using her size difference to full effect. Shida briefly found an opening at ringside and set up a chair for her trademark move. However, Statlander caught her in midair and sent her straight into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Statlander drove Shida into the ring post before hitting the ropes and returning with a vicious running dropkick. Shida used her experience to find an opening and lock in a side armbar which forced Statlander to get the foot on the bottom rope. The Japanese star followed it up with a superplex from the top rope. She went to follow up with a running knee but Statlander dodged it and replied with an enzuigiri. Statlander got a nearfall off an Electric Chair drop at this point, coming within a second of winning the match.

Shida rolled Statlander up but only got a nearfall. She followed it up with her patented running knee strike but it was only for another nearfall.

Statlander replied with another Suplex before hitting Shida with her finisher, the Big Bang, to pick up a massive win over the #1 contender.

Brandi Rhodes and Awesome Kong came out after the match, introducing herself and Awesome Kong as the Nightmare Collective. Brandi asked Statlander to join the Nightmare Collective. A fan came out of the crowd at this point and offered to join the Nightmare Collective in this bizarre segment.

Pentagon Jr vs Christopher Daniels

Christopher Daniels finally returned to action for the first time since he was attacked by Pentagon Jr. Daniels was laid out with the Packaged Piledriver at ringside weeks ago causing him to miss weeks of action.

Daniels didn't even wait for Pentagon to get into the ring and launched himself at Pentagon as he made his entrance. When the match finally began, it was Pentagon who was on top looking as dangerous as ever. Pentagon went to hit the Packaged Piledriver once again but Daniels managed to break free. It was still Pentagon's match to lose at this point as he continued to dominate.

Daniels fought his way back with a Faceplant and followed it up with a powerbomb for a 2-count. Pentagon replied with a Backstabber before the action spilled out to the entrance ramp. Back in the ring, Daniels hit Pentagon with the Angels Wings only for Fenix to come out and distract the referee.

This gave Pentagon the opening and he didn't waste it. He hit Christopher Daniels with the Packaged Piledriver to leave with the win. This probably isn't the last we have seen regarding the feud between Pentagon and Daniels.

Jon Moxley vs Joey Janela

Joey Janela took down Moxley early on but this just made Moxley even angrier than he probably already was. The two men traded chops until Moxley intervened with a headbutt. Janela then sidestepped Moxley, who crashed out to the elevated entrance ramp, and headed to the top rope. He launched himself at Moxley was soon taken out with a lariat.

Moxley threw Janela back into the ring and continued punishing him during the ad break. He took Janela and hit him with a nasty looking release vertical suplex for a 2-count. Moxley didn't look too perturbed and went for a Paradigm Shift on the entrance ramp. Janela maneuvered out of it and replied with a tornado DDT onto the ramp. He followed up with a suicide dive through the ropes.

Back in the ring, Moxley kicked out of Janela's crucifix bomb before taking him down with a lariat. Janela sent Moxley head-first into the bottom turnbuckle forcing Mox to leave the ring. Janela didn't stop to take a breath and headed up to the top rope and launched himself at Moxley, both men going through the ring keepers area.

Moxley still managed to kick out and hit Janela with Paradigm Shift onto the top rope. He then hit Janela with a second Paradigm Shift in the middle of the ring before pinning him
