Much was made of the fact that Edge could return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, but Triple H's own comments about Edge's kids cast a shadow over the monumental return. So, when Alter Bridge played over the speakers and the arena exploded with glee, it was a sight to see. Edge hasn't lost a step in the ring and while he did not win the match, he had a pretty fantastic showing all throughout the contest.

Randy Orton had made a passing comment about Edge during a segment on RAW where he had teased his retirement. I loved the sub-story that was told in the ring, first with the two men teasing an alliance and then with Randy Orton betraying Edge during the course of the contest. The two men are definitely going to clash at WrestleMania and what a titanic battle that is guaranteed to be!
Or maybe Edge has returned to compete in Saudi Arabia in what should be a mouth-watering clash with the Apex Predator of WWE, Orton.
