#2. Bill Apter says Brock Lesnar is at Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan's level
As mentioned earlier, Brock Lesnar has tied Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan at six WWE Championship wins. Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter feels The Beast Incarnate should be placed on the same level as the two legends.
Apter appeared on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Top Story, where he mentioned how much he is enjoying Lesnar now that he is cutting promos on his own:
"That thing (Brock Lesnar) did last week - with announcing himself, taking the mic away from Paul Heyman - that was fabulous. He deserves to be in (Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin's) league. He really does, in my opinion," said Bill Apter.
The nine-time world champion is certainly performing at the highest level right now, right where Austin and Hogan were in their primes.
#1. Bobby Lashley wanted to be removed from the WWE Day 1 match after Brock Lesnar's inclusion
Bobby Lashley wanted his first encounter with Brock Lesnar to come without any interference. This of course did not happen following The Beast Incarnate's addition to the WWE Championship match at Day 1. Their interaction during the match was cut off by Big E, who ended up getting pinned by Lesnar.
Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Lashley mentioned he would have rather been taken out of the match at Day 1. He wanted a one-on-one match with The Beast Incarnate instead:
"Initially I said take me out of it and it wasn't because I didn't want to have that match with Brock there, it was because I wanted to have a match with Brock one-on-one. I didn't want to have a whole bunch of different [people] just exactly how it happened. So if he beats me, he beats me, if I beat him, I beat him. There's no outside interference."
The All-Mighty has gotten his wish and will try to dethrone the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble.
