Bron Breakker shocked the world by teaming with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman following WrestleMania 41. Together with Bronson Reed, the heel faction dubbed the Future of the Industry has ensured Rollins always comes out victorious. They aided him at WWE’s last Premium Live Event, Money in the Bank. Now, with the King of the Ring tournament kicking off on the latest episode of WWE RAW, Breakker tried but failed to qualify.
Breakker took on Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Sami Zayn for his qualifying match. It was made clear during a backstage segment that Seth Rollins had high hopes that the second-generation star would win. However, thanks to LA Knight coming out for some revenge and hitting him with the BFT on the outside, Zayn picked up the win. Now, The Visionary will be fuming, but he does have Reed, who will face Sheamus, Rusev, and a mystery opponent on the upcoming episode of RAW.
With Breakker out of the running for the King of the Ring crown, his credibility in front of The Architect has gone down. It wouldn't be surprising if Rollins lost some faith in his associate. This could be the motivation for Bron to cut ties with the group and go solo once more. He could potentially even turn babyface.
While Breakker and Reed have assisted Seth Rollins in taking down CM Punk and winning the Money in the Bank match, they have not benefited from being part of this team. The former Intercontinental Champion is just a glorified security guard for The Revolutionary.
Fans speculate that Mr. Money in the Bank could try to cash in at SummerSlam; hence, this would be the best place for Breakker to turn on him, much like Jacob Fatu turned on Solo Sikoa this past weekend. However, this is all just speculation for now.
WWE legend claims Seth Rollins elevates Bron Breakker
If there is one WWE legend who knows something about heel factions, it is Kevin Nash. The nWo co-founder recently talked about Seth Rollins' team on his Kliq This podcast.
"I think it elevates him. Because he’s seen in that main event bracket. Bron is learning from a standpoint of sitting in the TV production room as they’re putting together what they’re going to do, and he’s in there with Heyman and Rollins. I mean, to be under that learning tree as opposed to, you know, somebody that doesn’t have that experience?" Nash said.
Since his call-up to the main roster, Breakker has proven to be over with the crowd. His in-ring agility and speed have won him fans globally. Moreover, his run as IC Champion was also praised.
