IMPACT/IPWF Results: Loser leaves town match, Rough Riders dominate

Who will leave with the title and who will leave the territory for good?
Who will leave with the title and who will leave the territory for good?

This week, we took it all the way back to the 1980s for some good old classic wrestling. While the IMPACT locker room took the night off, fans of the show were treated to a special airing of IPWF, Impact Provincial Wrestling Federation, on AXS TV!

Tonight, IPWF delivered an incredible card, featuring a blindfold match and a hard-fought Loser Leaves Town match! We also saw the Rough Riders, a fearsome foursome of female athletes who have dominated the roster, even managing to capture the tag team titles earlier this year!

We kicked off the night with a match between two incredible up-and-comers, the punk rocker Rip Rayzor and Rapid Delivery Pete.

Rip Rayzor (Ace Austin) vs. Rapid Delivery Pete (Rich Swann)

Pete tried to sell Rayzor on pizza, but the punk rock performer denied him, forcing the crowd to boo heavily. The Delivery Man had a hard time getting out of the gate early on, being tossed around by Rayzor with several arm drags.

Pete escaped a rear chin lock and picked up some momentum with a few hip tosses and a standing dropkick. Following that was the Special Delivery Splash, a running 180 frog splash, for the win.

Results: Rapid Deliver Pete defeated Rip Rayzor via pinfall.

Julian Cumberbun (Ethan Page) and his manager, Sonny Sanders (Sami Callihan), were brought in to talk about the Intercontinental Commonwealth Championship bout later on tonight. The champion, Cumberbun, would face Downtown Daddy Brown (Willie Mack).

Not only will the title be on the line, though. Whoever loses the match will be sent packing, as it's also a Loser Leaves Town Match!

Brown confronted Sanders and Cumberbun and turned a two-on-one beat down into an embarrassing assault on the champion.

Oats and Hall faced a monstrous challenge...almost as monstrous as the copyright claims

Xcessive Force (Fallah Bahh as Plunder and D-Lo Brown as Pummel) were interviewed by Iceman about their upcoming match with the Hard Workers (Cody Deaner as Oats and Cousin Jake as Hall).

XF said that their opponents are about to breathe their last breath.

Xcessive Force (Plunder & Pummel) vs. The Hard Workers (Oats & Hall)

Xcessive Force took out the Hard Workers with a cheap shot, sending Oats into their corner while Hall was tossed to the outside. While Hall managed to take Plunder out with a dropkick, Pummel leveled Oats with a clothesline.

Oats was worked over in the corner of the Xcessive Force as Pummel cut the ring in half. Hall finally tagged in when Oats crawled through Pummel's legs. Hall managed to stun both Plunder and Pummel with heavy haymakers, taking them both to the ground with a pair of clotheslines.

A body slam to Pummel set Hall up for his patented punching combination. Oats snuck a tag while Hall was caught coming in for another strike. The sunset flip was enough to earn the win for the Hard Workers.

Results: The Hard Workers defeated Xcessive Force via pinfall.

Following the match, Xcessive Force crushed the Hard Workers, even smashing their top hats with a body splash from Plunder to Hall.

The brand new star Johnny Swinger looked to pop the crowd with some explosive new techniques!
The brand new star Johnny Swinger looked to pop the crowd with some explosive new techniques!

The young up-and-comer Johnny Swinger made his debut for IPWF tonight. The flamboyant star has definitely caught the attention of many in the company and across the globe for his innovative offense.

Johnny Swinger vs. Buck Gunderson

Swinger raked the back of Gunderson before sending him to the mat with a rope bounce. Gunderson was rocked with a pair of forearms, leaving him dazed. Gunderson attempted a ten-punch in the corner but was spiked with a spinebuster.

Swinger wrapped it up with the Swinger Neckbreaker, picking up a win in his debut match.

Results: Johnny Swinger defeated Buck Gunderson via pinfall.

Frank the Butcher, former Southpaw Regional Wrestling star, seemed to have signed on with IPWF, as he sent a horrifyingly bloody vignette to prepare the roster for his debut. He even sent out an invitation to his old tag-team partner in case he ever wanted to jump brands and capture the Tag Team Titles.

The Rough Riders (Tessa Blanchard as Blanche Ardmore, Jordynne Grace as Georgia Cobb, Jessicka Havok as Ladybird Johnston, and Alexia Nicole as Mildred Moore) took Iceman's microphone to cut a classic Riders promo. They stated that no matter who stepped in the ring with them, they'll ride over their competition.

Jazzy Fitbody (Madison Rayne) vs. Agnus Bearhart (Alisha Edwards)

Fitbody used her Jazzercise techniques to escape the grasp of Bearhart. However, the appearance of Sebastian Baker (Jimmy Jacobs) distracted her. Agnus took her over with a suplex, getting a near fall.

Fitbody was able to get back on top with a few forearm shots. A Jazzerstep sequence and a middle rope splash earned Fitbody a victory.

Results: Jazzy Fitbody defeated Agnus Bearhart via pinfall.

Following the match, Baker entered the ring, hoping to add Fitbody to his stable. Last week, he gave her seven days to decide if he would sign the contract. Fitbody was pressured against the decision by the audience. Baker pretended to join but instead kicked Baker in between the uprights.

Backstage, the $300,000 Man had a duffle bag of cold hard cash for anybody who would be able to body slam the monstrous Kongo Kong later tonight.

Tim Bur (Josh Alexander), Jim Nasium (Dez), Bill Ding (Trey), and Ray Strack (Wentz) vs. The Rough Riders

Ding and Blanche Ardmore started off, with Ding taking a break early to get in a bit of a shave. Ardmore rocked him with a superkick, leading to Strack tagging in. Cobb leaped in but had a hard time keeping the speedster from flying around the ring.

Finally, a shoulder block stopped Strack in his tracks. He rolled over to Nasium, who was then met by Mildred Moore. Moore was thrown off by Nasium's gym teacher strategy but managed to toss him across the ring with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Tim Bur finally jumped in the fray, meeting Ladybird Johnston.

The powerhouses of the teams met in a head-on collision. Bur's iconic diving ax handle was not enough to bring Johnston to the ground. A double ax handle worked, even earning Bur a two-count. Johnston recovered and battered Bur with chest chops. Bur responded in kind.

Strack tagged in, laying out all four members of the Rough Riders with a series of "side thrust kicks". He bounced around the ring, hitting three of them with a body splash while throwing Ardmore down for a penalty kick to the face.

Strack missed a body splash, however, and was bounced off the mat with some...dangerous-looking maneuver while the Riders knocked off Strack's team.

Results: The Rough Riders win via pinfall.

The $300,000 Man joined Kongo Kong in the middle of the ring. Last week, he offered $2,000 for anyone who could slam the big man. This week, it was upped to $3,000. It was none other than Mr. Atlantis, who stepped up to the challenge.

Atlantis was unable to get Kong up. However, Muscles McGhee (Brian Cage) stepped up to the plate. The Canadian legend rushed the ring. Though the $300,000 said the money was no longer on the table, McGhee said he wasn't doing it for the money. It was the people he performed for.

Kong tried to take him out from behind, but McGhee was able to turn things around, easily bringing Kong up for an explosive body slam. McGhee then stood in the ring with the duffle bag and the Canadian flag.

Tommy Dreamer cut a promo on IPWF, demanding a rematch for the title, which was stripped by Jack Tunney. That's why he went up north and slapped the taste out of Vince McMahon and his son, little Vince Jr. Now, he's back and he wants revenge and carnage!

Replay: DJ 2 Large (Moose) vs. Captain Joystick (Joey Ryan) w/Miss Mile High

We were shown a match from last week featuring Captain Joystick and DJ 2 Large. Joystick tried to use Miss Mile High to escape. 2 Large saved Mile High and continued his assault on the Captain. Joystick chopped the Captain's lower body and screamed in pain.

Joystick was taken out with the Platinum Discus.

This week, Joystick brought DJ 2 Large onto the Captain's Cockpit. Joystick asked 2 Large several questions but kept cutting him off before he could answer. 2 Large took the mic from his hands and delivered an epic rhyme.

Joystick bounced a drink tray that Mile High was holding off of 2 Large's head to end the segment.

A month ago, the Singhs blinded Colt McCoy with a despicable fireball. Tonight, McCoy looked to get his revenge the best way he knew how.

Blindfold Match: Gama Singh w/Dada Singh vs ".Cowboy" Colt McCoy

Both men slowly worked their way around the ring, trying to get a hand on one another. McCoy managed to get the upper hand thanks to the audience who helped point Singh out.

Dada Singh distracted him, however, smacking the apron. He also distracted the ref, allowing Singh to lift up the hood to take out McCoy. McCoy was met with a strong right, but held onto the ropes, as Singh tried to arm drag air.

McCoy inadvertently rocked Dada with a right hand, then found his way over to Gama Singh for the Ace Crusher.

Results: Colt McCoy defeated Gama Singh via pinfall.

Iceman joined the Cowboy in the ring to get his thoughts on the match. McCoy said he did everything he does for the people. Before he could continue, the Soviets assaulted him. Bruiser (Michael Elgin) and Sergei (Madman Fulton) choked him out with a steel chain. The promoter, Giuseppe (Scott D'Amore) tried to separate everyone but was knocked out by the Soviets as well.

McCoy was left out cold in the middle of the ring with the Soviet flag draped across his body. Back from commercial, Giuseppe told Iceman that he was going to the ring next week, one final time, teaming with Colt McCoy to take on the Soviets.

Cumberbun and Sanders pulled every trick in the book to derail Downtown Daddy Brown

Loser Leaves Town Match for the ICC TV Championship Match: Downtown Daddy Brown vs Julian Cumberbun (c) w/Sonny Sanders

Brown and Cumberbun locked up. Sanders distracted Brown, however, allowing Cumberbun to rock him with a series of right hands. Brown responded with two reverse atomic drops and bounced Cumberbun up and down in the ropes before he finally fell through and onto the concrete floor.

Sanders again distracted Brown while Cumberbun hid in the crow, taking a beanie from a fan to fit in. Brown found him eventually, returning the beanie and rolling Cumberbun inside. The champion begged and pleaded for mercy, but would receive none.

Cumberbun distracted the ref, allowing Sanders to whack Brown with the tennis racket. Cumberbun then claimed that his ankle had given out when Brown fell to the floor outside. Sanders again assaulted the challenger while the ref's back was turned.

The champion's ankle miraculously recovered, and he trapped Brown in a Figure-4 Leglock. Sanders pulled Cumberbun towards the ropes for extra leverage. Brown managed to turn it around, but Cumberbun grabbed ahold of the ropes.

Back to their feet, the two men slugged it out, with Downtown losing the brawl. Eventually, though, he avoided a body splash in the corner and rocked Cumberbun with a patented punching combination and a bionic elbow. As he went for the pin, Sanders placed Cumberbun's foot on the rope.

Sanders distracted Brown and the ref once again. This time, when Brown turned around he was smacked in the head with the tennis racket. Brown kicked out and managed to roll up the champion for the win.

Results: Downtown Daddy Brown defeated Julian Cumberbun via pinfall.

Not only did we crown a brand new ICC TV Champion, but Julian Cumberbun has been sent packing.
