IMPACT Wrestling X-Division #1 Contender's Match: Ace Austin vs Chris Bey vs Rohit Raju vs Petey Williams vs Trey Miguel
IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Josh Alexander would have trouble with any of these five competitors. Ace Austin and Trey Miguel found themselves on the floor while Rohit Raju and Chris Bey teamed up to beat up on Petey Williams.
Williams hit a floating dropkick on Raju before slamming Bey, dropping Raju on Bey with a bulldog. A dropkick to Raju left Petey splashing down on Bey, and Maple Leaf Muscle was on fire.
Bey caught Williams with a headscissor takedown, though, following with an enzuigiri for a two-count. Ace Austin rolled Bey up with a cradle, but couldn't pin Bey. The Ultimate Finnesser, Williams, and Raju were caught on the floor with a dive from Trey Miguel, who then stunned Ace Austin with a superkick.
In the ring, Trey locked Ace Austin up in a leg lock. Petey Williams trapped Bey in a Sharpshooter, with Petey and Trey trying to break each other's submissions up. Ultimately, IMPACT Wrestling's Desi Hitman, Rohit Raju, broke it all up and battered his opponents with a series of flying forearms.
Raju pinned Bey and Trey, getting two-counts on both opponents. Williams tried to put a stop to his momentum but was hit with a high suplex. Raju then planted Trey with a back suplex, getting yet another nearfall. Trey rocked Raju with a scorpion kick, but Raju escaped another attack and popped IMPACT Wrestling's Rascal with a flash knee strike. A running single leg dropkick connected, but Bey broke the pin up.
Bey planted Raju with a torture rack neckbreaker, only for Raju to kick out. Austin was in next and stacked both men up for a series of strikes and a double springboard leg drop. Raju fell to the floor while Bey kicked out at two-and-a-half. Petey Williams hit Austin with a slingshot codebreaker and a tilt-a-whirl Russian leg sweep.
The flatliner planted Austin face-first, and the multi-time IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion was set to deliver the Canadian Destroyer. Austin stopped it, taking Petey to the corner. Petey blocked a running hurricanrana and a superplex before spiking Austin with a top rope Canadian Destroyer! 1-2-no, Trey Miguel just breaks up the pin, and this IMPACT Wrestling match continues.
Trey dropped Petey, but as he moved up top for the meteora, Madman Fulton returned. The giant laid launched Trey onto the apron head first before running through the rest of the field with ease. Fulton managed to hit Raju, Trey, Petey, and Bey with a powerbomb, two chokeslams, and a World's Strongest Slam all at once.
In a shocking turn of events, the referee opted to rule this one a no-contest.
