Former TNA/IMPACT Champions returned at Bound For Glory tonight
"The NFL has the SuperBowl. Hollywood has The Oscars. For the next three hours, IMPACT Wrestling has Bound For Glory."
-Josh Matthews

IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory was absolutely loaded with back-to-back show stealers, capped off with a hellacious main event.

Rich Swann would battle Eric Young in the Bound For Glory main event for the IMPACT World Title. We would also see the IMPACT Tag Titles defended at Bound For Glory, as the Motor City Machine Guns defended in a four-way scramble.

All that, plus the Knockouts Championship, Moose vs EC3, and more. Overall, four belts were on the line at Bound For Glory tonight.

We kicked off Bound For Glory with the X-Division Championship Six-Person Scramble. Would Rohit Raju hold onto his title, or would he lose his first IMPACT Wrestling Championship two months into his reign?

Six-Way Intergender Scramble for the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory: TJP vs Trey Miguel vs Chris Bey vs Jordynne Grace vs Willie Mack vs Rohit Raju (c)

Rohit Raju, of course, left the ring immediately. However, TJP, Chris Bey, and Jordynne Grace chased him back in. Everyone was so excited to hit the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champ that they were fighting each other for the chance.

Eventually TJP and Chris Bey were left on their own as Raju again left the ring. Trey Miguel hit TJP with a missile dropkick, and avoided a striking combination from Bey. A dropkick to the back of Bey's head and an inverted 619 sent Bey to the ground.

Rohit Raju tried to steal one at Bound For Glory, but when Trey blocked his attempt, he bailed once again. Willie Mack was up next, running through Trey with a leaping shoulder tackle. Grace went toe-to-toe with the other powerhouse of the bout, and managed to bring Mack down for a two-count.

Mack dropped Grace with a body slam, but was wrapped up by TJP, along with Trey Miguel and Chris Bey. That's right, TJP had a submission hold on three opponents at the same time. Two leg locks on Mack and Trey, respectively, and a headlock on Bey. Grace and Raju broke the submissions up, stomping everyone out in the ring.

Raju focused on the former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, hitting a great snap suplex on Grace. Mack pulled Grace out and finally got his hands on Raju, rocking him with a pop-up forearm. Trey, TJP and Bey rushed in, and were all laid out with some massive strikes. Rohit rolled in to try his shot at Mack, but noticed that the four other challengers were on the ropes.

They all hit Raju while Mack followed up with the Samoan Drop/standing moonsault combination. Grace then fought with TJP and Raju on the floor, but the three were taken out by a tope con hilo from Willie Mack. TJP recovered and held Trey on the apron in an electric chair. Bey hit an incredible leaping dropkick, catching Trey in the chest and sending him tumbling to the floor.

Bey hit another dive, leaving four competitors outside as Raju rolled in for a schoolboy on TJP. Raju couldn't get the win, even with the tights. Grace broke up TJP's responding pin attempt, and slapped the taste out of Trey's mouth.

Trey was left on top of a turnbuckle as Grace was stuck in the tree of woe. Bey and TJP followed each other up to Trey, and all three competitors were sent to the mat with a spider german suplex.

With Grace still in the turnbuckle, Raju hit his diving double stomp. Mack broke the pinfall just in time. Mack caught Raju with a stunner, but was dropped with The Art of Finesse. Trey hit a backflip dropkick on Bey, only to be locked din a submission by TJP.

Grace tried to break it up, and was caught in the TJP Clutch. Trey attempted to break it up, but met th same fate. Grace, free from TJP, hit the running senton. Trey and Grace were left, and Grace was able to plant Trey with the Grace Driver. 1-2-no! Raju broke the pin up.

Grace took out Mack on the floor, and Raju waited for his opportunity. TJP's Mamba Splash landed on Trey, but Raju got the pin at Bound For Glory.

Results: Rohit Raju defeated Trey Miguel via pinfall on Bound For Glory.

Grade: A

At Bound For Glory, Raju walked out with the gold, defying the odds in a fantastic opener.

Could Rhino and Heath pull out a miracle?
Could Rhino and Heath pull out a miracle?

Backstage at Bound For Glory, John E. Bravo was upset that they couldn't get the gothic castle Rosemary wanted. Rosemary didn't care though. As far as she's concerned, it's about their marriage, not the venue.

The Bound For Glory Call Your Shot Gauntlet was up next. If neither Rhino nor Heath won at Bound For Glory, they'd both be out of a job.

IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory Call Your Shot Gauntlet

Rhino started the match, and the second participant was the returning Shawn Daivari, former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion, at Bound For Glory. Formerly known as Shiek Abdul Bashir, Daivari was in incredible shape.

Daivari avoided a Gore by escaping between the ropes. Rhino followed him, and the two men brawled around ringside. As they got back in, the third participant, Larry D, made his way to the ring. The big man squashed Rhino with a body splash, and looked to Daivari for help in getting rid of the former IMPACT Wrestling/NWA Worlds Champion.

Crazzy Steve was out next as Rhino fought off Larry and Daivari. Steve went after Larry D, who was saved by his partner Acey Romero.

IMPACT Wrestlng's biggest tag team took over from here, crushing Crazzy Steve between them. However, Rhino and Daivari got back to their feet, preventing the elimination. Tenille Dashwood, accompanied by Kaleb with a K, was No. 6, but didn't really care about the match.

It was all about the selfies for Dashwood, who sent Kaleb into the ring to do her dirty work. XXXL had trouble with Kaleb as Havok came in at No. 10. The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion dominated Kaleb and XXXL. Kalen was planted with a powerbomb and sent over the ropes. However, he wasn't part of this Bound For Glory match, so we were still without an elimination up to this point.

Dashwood entered, as did No. 11 - Brian Myers. Steve nearly eliminated Myers, but a poke to the eye and a hip toss sent the psychotic clown over the ropes, giving us our first real elimination. The next contestant was Swoggle, making his return at Bound For Glory. He and Myers teamed up to send Daivari to the floor. Myers also dumped Swoggle, giving him an impressive showing at Bound For Glory.

Tommy Dreamer, dressed in a Road Warrior Animal shirt and classic face paint, came in with several weapons. The ECW Original teamed up with Swoggle, who hadn't left ringside yet, to take out Myers with a mini-Doomsday Device.

Alisha Edwards came in and hit Dashwood with a handicap parking sign. Myers sent Dreamer out, followed shortly by Lish. That's five eliminations for Myers at Bound For Glory. Kiera Hogan, accompanied by Tasha Steelz, was next.

Myers took a selfie with Dashood before eliminating her. Former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie came in, easily setting XXXL up in the corner for a pair of hip attacks. The running double knee strike hit both.

Fallah Bahh, still greedily holding his wad of cash, came out. Havok sent Hogan out with a chokeslam, but was then dumped to the floor by Valkyrie. XXXL sent Valkyrie out just as The Cowboy James Storm made his return to IMPACT Wrestling at Bound For Glory!

Storm dropped XXXL with a pair of DDTs. A superkick to Larry D sent him to the floor. Storm followed up with a backstabber to Bahh. As Storm set up for a body slam on Acey Romero, the big man was just too much weight to bear.

Reno Scum was next, and they focused their efforts on Storm and followed by Bahh. After that, a body splash/flying double stomp dropped Rhino.

Heath came in, able to finally give his tag team partner Rhino a break. He dropped several competitors with big rights and knees, before trading punches with Acey Romero. Heath eliminated him, then Brian Myers.

Reno Scum focused on Heath, as Sami Callihan came in. He decided to go for the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion James Storm, but the Cowboy managed to fight him off.

The final participant, Hernandez, but after learning that Fallah Bahh had stolen his money, they both eliminated themselves.

Reno Scum was eliminated, leaving Callihan, Heath, Rhino, and Storm, which was a pretty solid final four. Storm squared off with Heath as Rhino and Callihan traded blows. Callihan managed to eliminate James Storm and Heath, leaving the final two as Sami Callihan and Rhino. It's now a singles match.

Callihan spiked Rhino with the Cactus Special, but Rhino kicked out at 2.9. Callihan grabbed a chair, but was forced to drop it by the ref. That gave Rhino enough time to recover and hit the Gore for the win, saving he and Heath's jobs at Bound For Glory.

Results: Rhino defeated Sami Callihan via pinfall at Bound for Glory.

Grade: B

Rhino celebrated with, not only the trophy, but the fact that he secured both the jobs of Heath and himself at Bound For Glory.

Moose looked to finally end EC3's shenanigans
Moose looked to finally end EC3's shenanigans

Interviewed by Gia Miller, The North cut an impassioned promo ahead of the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title bout at Bound For Glory. The North will look to take the belts off of The Motor City Machine Guns, along with Ace Austin and Madman Fulton, and The Good Brothers.

Up next, a Bound For Glory grudge match. Moose got his TNA World Title back weeks ago but needed to send a message to EC3 tonight.

Moose vs EC3 at Bound For Glory

EC3 was busy attacking a random man in his own custom ring while his followers celebrated around ringside. Moose entered, holding the TNA World Championship.

EC3 sent Moose overhead with an exploder, with his followers again making noise to support their leader. Moose went low and bashed EC3's face against the turnbuckle. EC3 was busted open, with his blood showing up on Moose's all white clothing.

Moose grabbed a chair, looking to turn Bound For Glory into an R-rated production. EC3, like a rabid animal, tackled Moose to the mat, scratching and clawing at him.

EC3 dragged Moose to the floor, launching him spine first onto the barricade. He bashed Moose's skull against the ring post, and said that the TNA World Title didn't belong to either one of them. Bloodied, Moose struggled to get to his feet as EC3 berated him. EC3 set up for the One Percenter, but decided against it, disregarding the past.

That allowed Moose to hit the spear. This was definitely the bloodiest bout at Bound For Glory, with both men, and the canvas, covered in red. Moose bashed the title into EC3's skull. He asked if this was what EC3 wanted, and the former champ screamed "Yes" as the EC3 acolytes chanted "Moose."

Moose finished the job, laying out EC3 with one final title shot to the face.

Results: Moose defeated EC3 at Bound For Glory.

Grade: B+

EC3's group pulled EC3 away as a bloodied Moose stared on.

A Bound For Glory grudge match with Sami Callihan pulling the strings
A Bound For Glory grudge match with Sami Callihan pulling the strings

One of the most exciting matches on the Bound For Glory card was up next. Everyone heading out to the ring was a former world champion. Could Eddie Edwards overcome the World's Most Dangerous Man at Bound For Glory? Or would the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer snap his ankle?

Prior to Bound For Glory, we saw Ken Shamrock inducted into the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame, which had The Rock officially induct him in a pretty special moment.

Eddie Edwards vs Ken Shamrock w/Sami Callihan at Bound For Glory

Ken Shamrock and Eddie Edwards started the match off with strikes, with Shamrock nearly knocking Edwards out cold with a knee to the jaw.

Though Sami Callihan lost the Bound For Glory Call Your Shot Gauntlet, he was in a great mood, wanting to see Shamrock demolish his long-time rival. Shamrock battered Edwards before going for a rear naked choke. Edwards separated Shamrock's arms, but was caught in a heel hook. He rolled to the ropes for the break.

Shamrock kicked Edwards to the floor, and only fired up more, utterly destroying Eddie at Bound For Glory. Callihan would also distract Edwards, giving Shamrock ample time to do what he needed to do. Edwards eventually caught Shamrock with some forearms and a Blue Thunder Bomb.

Edwards followed up with a dragon screw, sending Shamrock outside. A suicide dive slammed Shamrock and Callihan into the barricade. Don Callis pointed out that surviving the first five minutes in this Bound For Glory bout was crucial, and that's what Eddie did.

A missile dropkick on the inside earned Edwards a two-count. Shamrock was planted with the tiger driver, but locked Eddie in a triangle hold. Edwards escaped, and laid out the legend with a leaping enziguri and forearm. The Backpack Stunner connected, but Shamrock again turned Eddie's offense into a submission, trapping him in a rear naked choke.

A headbut broke it up, and the Boston Knee Party connected. Callihan distracted Edwards as he locked in the single leg Boston Crab, shutting everything down at Bound For Glory with his phone.

When the lights came back, Callihan was in the ring with the bat. Edwards had Kenny with him, sending Callihan to the floor. Unfortunately, this gave Shamrock time to recover and lock in the ankle lock on Eddie Edwards.

Results: Ken Shamrock defeated Eddie Edwards via submission at Bound For Glory.

Who would walk out with the IMPACT Tag Team Titles?
Who would walk out with the IMPACT Tag Team Titles?

Next up was, what some considered, the match that would steal Bound For Glory. A four-team scramble for the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship. The North were determined to regain their titles, while teams like The Good Brothers and Ace Austin and Madman Fulton wanted to make history at Bound For Glory.

Four-Way IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title Match at Bound For Glory: The North v Ace Austin and Madman Fulton vs The Good Brothers vs The Motor City Machine Guns (c)

Before The Motor City Machine Guns could defend at Bound for Glory, they were taken out by The North. Shelley was spiked on the ramp with a double underhook driver. The officials assisted Shelley to the back, as Sabin decided to go at this alone.

Sabin rushed The North, lighting them up with rights and lefts. The former world champion couldn't handle the numbers game, though, with Ethan Page rocking him with a dropkick.

The North were tagged out by Fulton and Austin, who took time dissecting and demolishing Sabin at Bound For Glory. The North tagged Fulton out when they got the chance, continuing the punishment on Sabin. A powerslam from Page dropped Sabin, but he avoided the top rope moonsault. Fulton tagged back in, putting Sabin out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Sabin, somehow, had something left in the tank to throw some wild offense at Fulton but it just wasn't enough. It definitely looked like we'd crown new champs at Bound For Glory.

That is until Sabin was able to counter the lawn dart/double knee combo from Fulton and Ace, spiking Fulton with a DDT. Karl Anderson tagged in, letting Ace Austin have it.

The Good Brothers hit the back suplex/neckbreaker combination. Fulton broke the pin up, giving us another clash of the titans between Gallows and himself. The North tagged Gallows out, but were taken out by Sabin, who spiked them both with a double tornado DDT.

Sabin tagged The North out of the match, and sent Gallows to the floor. Karl Anderson countered the cross body with a pin for a nearfall at Bound For Glory. They traded shots, with Sabin getting more pumped up as the match went on.

Austin caught a sneaky tag on Anderson, but didn't catch Sabin off guard. He came off the top for a cross body only to get hit with a standing dropkick. A running enziguri laid out Austin, allowing sabin tohit the Cradle Shock. Ethan Page broke it up before getting dumped outside.

Sabni moved up top only to be cut off by Austin. The North tagged Austin out, and slammed Sabin with a double spinebuster. Still, Sabin refused to give up at Bound For Glory. Sabin escaped their finish, and Anderson tagged in. The Good Brothers ran wild for a brief moment before Fulton and Ace regained control.

The North chopped down the tree that was Madman Fulton and destroyed Austin with a pair of forearms. Anderson sent Page to the floor and caught Alexander with the leaping neckbreaker. Alexander avoided the Magic Killer and blocked the Gun Stun. Page caught Anderson with the belt, giving The North their second tag title run at Bound For Glory.

Results: The North defeated The Good Brothers via pinfall at Bound For Glory.

Havok met Rosemary backstage at Bound For Glory, as they left to resurrect Father James Mitchell. Taya Valkyrie wondered if Bravo had been honest with Rosemary about the wedding so far, but Bravo said that he's the man in the relationship, and when they're married, Rosemary will do what he says.

Do we count that as a heel turn?

Deonna Purrazzo was in for a surprise tonight
Deonna Purrazzo was in for a surprise tonight

The Knockouts Championship match was next at Bound For Glory. Over the past few months, Deonna Purrazzo had dismissed Kylie Rae as nothing more than a happy-go-lucky loser. At Victory Road, she and Kimber Lee broke the arm of her best friend Susie.

Kylie Rae hoped to, not only win the Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory but get revenge for her best friend. Well...she was about to. However, when her music hit, she didn't appear. Purrazzo grabbed a mic, asking anyone to come down to the ring for the opportunity of a lifetime.

The woman who challenged for the Knockouts Championship was Su Yung, who made her return at Bound For Glory tonight.

Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory: Deonna Purrazzo w/Kimber Lee vs Su Yung

Deonna Purrazzo, originally full of confidence at Bound For Glory, was mortified when she looked into the undead eyes of the Undead Bride. Purrazzo was sent flying around the ring, as Su Yung unleashed all the fury that Susie had built up in the previous months.

On the apron, a swinging sidewalk slam cracked Purrazzo's spine. Yung grabbed a steel chair, looking to do some more damage. Luckily for the champion, Kimer Le made a distraction. As they rolled back in, Su Yung regained control. The leaping palm strike in the corner and the corner headscissor take down nearly ended Purrazzo's reign at Bound For Glory.

Purrazzo finally took control, targeting the arm of the former Knockouts Champion. The cross armbreaker was nearly locked in, but Su Yung blocked it. Purrazzo stomped out the shoulder of her challenger. Though that arm she broke at Victory Road seemed to have healed by tonight, she was well on her way to breaking it again.

She tied up Su Yung in her own limbs on the bottom rope with something called the Paradise Lock, dropping her to the floor afterward with a dropkick. Back in the ring, a series of Germans connected, but Purrazzo was spiked with a DDT, giving Su Yung that shot at redemption back at Bound For Glory.

A series of palm strikes lit up the champ. The Thesz press took her to the mat where Yung battered her with right hands. A running bulldog planted Purrazzo face first. After a senton through a chair, Yung planted Purrazzo with the Pedigree. She kicked out, but Yung then grabbed her bloody glove.

Purrazzo accidentally booted the ref, and was spiked with the back to belly piledriver. Yung checked on the ref and was hit with a chair from Kimber.

Much like Victory Raod, Purrazzo tried to snap Yung's arm at Bound For Glory. Yung caught Purrazzo coming off the top with the mandible claw. Lee was hit with the mist, and the two combatants both scrambled for their submission finishers. The Panic Switch spiked Purrazzo

Results: Su Yung defeated Deonna Purrazzo via pinfall at Bound For Glory.

Grade: A

While we didn't get that Kylie Rae-Deonna Purrazzo bout, we still got an incredible match and a new Knockouts Champion at Bound For Glory.

Speaking of Knockouts Champions, Josh Matthews and Madison Rayne revealed at Bound For Glory that the Knockouts Tag Titles would be returning. The champions would be crowned at IMPACT Wrestling Hard to Kill.

This is it. The Bound For Glory main event. Since returning this summer, Eric Young has made Rich Swann's life a complete living Hell. Snapping his ankle not once, but twice, Young tried to end Swann's career for good.

At Bound For Glory, Swann had the chance to end Young's reign of terror and capture the top prize in IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT Wrestling World Championship at Bound For Glory: Rich Swann vs Eric Young (c)

Rich Swann's leg showed no signs of weakness, as Swann was able to leap around the World Class Maniac, avoiding the champ's offense and sending him to the floor. Young had to take a walk to think up a strategy, but Swann's aggressiveness wouldn't let him.

Young was launched into the ring post as he attempted to go after Swann's leg again. Swann followed up with a big dive off the apron. However, a back body drop onto the apron saw Swann land on top of his head, injuring his neck. Swann came into Bound For Glory with a strong and fresh ankle, but it looked like he'd be leaving Bound For Glory with a bad neck.

Back in the ring, Young kept up the pressure with neck cranks and a Bret's Rope wheelbarrow neckbreaker. Somehow, Swann kept fighting. Another neckbreaker saw Swann kick out at two.

Young stomped out Swann's neck, but the former X-Division Champion refused to quit. The Death Valley Driver spiked Swann. Again, he kicked out. Eric Young, somehow, got more manic and aggressive at Bound For Glory, but he couldn't get the job done.

Swann yelled at Scott D'Amore and IMPACT that what was happening to Rich Swann was not his fault, but theirs. He demanded that Swann stay down, but the challenger refused. Swann wasn't going to give up at Bound For Glory. He wasn't going to give up on any night.

Swann tanked some strong rights from Young and fired up against Young, pelting him with big punches. Young bolted up the top rope, but Swann followed right after, launching him overhead with an avalanche hip toss. It took as much out of Rich as it the champion, though.

They made it to their feet, and Swann hit Young with a series of spinning back kicks to the gut. A leaping hurricanrana off the top set Young up for a sky-high frog splash. Young kicked out.

Young bit the face of Swann at the top rope, sending Swann to the mat for a big diving elbow to the neck. Swann kicked out but was locked in a crossface.

Swann fired up with a big roundhouse kick, but the handspring cutter was countered with a torture rack neckbreaker. Young got another nearfall at Bound For Glory, and decided to go after Swann's ankle.

Swann escaped a heel hook and countered the piledriver. A straight side kick to the dome knocked out Young. A handspring 450 Splash hit Swann for the two. Swann was half a second away from making history at Bound For Glory.

Young cut Swann off, stopping the Phoenix Splash, before locking him in the tree of woe. However, Swann was able to pop out of it for a cutter. A handspring cutter connected as well, and Swann hit the Phoenix Splash. After a long, hard fought and often tough to watch match, Rich Swann captured the IMPACT World Title at Bound For Glory.

Results: Rich Swann defeated Eric Young via pinfall at Bound For Glory.

Grade: A+

The locker room emptied out to celebrate with Rich Swann, raising him up no their shoulders as Eric Young crawled to the back. Eddie Edwards, The Rascalz, and more joined in to end Bound For Glory.
