#3 NXT Champion Adam Cole has reportedly re-signed with WWE

NXT Champion, Adam Cole has been in news recently for the status of his contract with WWE. While there a lot of speculations of his contract ending in August and him not re-signing it, the latest rumors suggest otherwise, stating that he has already signed with WWE for a new multi-year contract.

In an update to a recent headline that indicated that Adam Cole’s contract is set to expire this summer and that he hasn’t come to any agreement with WWE on a new deal with the possibility that he might jump to AEW, this report is actually false. I heard from multiple sources that Cole actually signed a three-year contract with WWE sometime last year, meaning he is going to be with the company for at least another two years and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Adam Cole will be defending his NXT Championship against the Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: In Your House this Sunday in a Backlot Brawl. The NXT Champion recently completed 365 days with the title, the most in the history of the brand.

Adam Cole is definitely a huge Superstar that WWE would surely not want to lose to All Elite Wrestling. If the rumors of him signing a contract with WWE are true, the chances of him retaining this Sunday are high.
