Monday Night RAW: 10th March 2014 - Superstar Ratings

Daniel Bryan

Batista and Randy Orton- 7

Randy Orton and Batista

Randy Orton and Batista

Yes they belong to the same categorynow, heels that look stale without Daniel Bryan. It wasn’t a great idea to team these men up in the first place since Batista was all ready to tear Orton apart. However, Bryan’s brilliance came to the save there as well.

Orton taking the pin puts him further into the hole and he looks almost certain to walk out of WrestleMania without the title. meanwhile, Batista didn’t have anything to remember as well as Bryan stole the show.

Sheamus – 7.5

Sheamus

Sheamus

Sheamus was on his own backyard this week when WWE decided to put him against Christian in a Memphis street fight.

After what went last week, it seemed to be what Sheamus wanted the most and went on to give an exciting bout as usual. Another win over Christian builds up his momentum further and if the company is really thinking about a potential WrestleMania match between the two, they should save it for then.

Big Show- 7.5

The Big Show

The Big Show

Show was out of television for an awfully long time and his return looks like a big thing after the giant main evented two back to back shows.

But taking the Authority Storyline away from him, Show is still someone who doesn’t have an individual angle. And it needs to be addressed by the creative if they are to invest on him at WrestleMania. Kane looks like a worthy opponent and we might have it on our hand soon.

Wyatt Family – 7.5

Wyatt Family

Wyatt Family

It’s not every day that you see someone outclass John Cena and Hulk Hogan on the same night. Bray Wyatt made the task looked easy and made it clear that the future belongs to him.

Erick Rowan got into the singles match with Cena following the initial segment and gave a rather unforgettable match. But Bray’s charisma makes Wyatt Family stand tall again despite a poor performance by Rowan.

Rhodes Brothers- 8

Rhodes Brothers

Rhodes Brothers

There were concern about the relevance of Rhodes Brothers after they lost the title but they proved that they are going nowhere with a great match against Shield this week.

Though it ended in a losing effort, the amount of dedication and emotion that went into the match made Rhodes Brothers look good in the ring. Cody Rhodes in particular looked good out there and he is sure to break out soon because he has all the ammunition to do so.

The Shield -8

Shield

Shield

The hounds of justice showed a great signs of face alignment when they locked themselves in a small word tussle with Kane and went on to give the match of the night against Rhodes Brothers.

Rollins getting the pin was a great way to make everyone understood that Roman Reigns wasn’t the only wrestler in Shield. Rollins completely stole the show in the match with some great moves. Having Ambrose sit on the sidelines didn’t work well and his United States title is some kind of a burden for everyone now.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon- 8.5

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

No that rating doesn’t entirely belong to Triple H as you might assume, it belongs to his lovely wife who is walking the path of her father and is stamping her place as the top heel in professional wrestling.

“You don’t own any of this. We. Own. This. Ring”- Daniel Bryan

“When I was born this place became mine. It is mine. I do own you.”—Stephanie McMahon.

That snippet from the segment she had with Bryan speaks for its own and Triple H was a great support to make things better. It was however, Stephanie’s brilliance that made the path to WrestleMania a worth taking and the best part- it’s not over yet.

Daniel Bryan – 9

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan

It took Bryan a lot of months and a ring full of fans to get his match at WrestleMania. Filling the ring with WWE fans isn’t something that you see every day unless you were an ECW fan.

After getting the big announcement, Bryan went on to face his potential opponents in a tag team match in the main event which saw him pin the World Champion.

The night belonged to Daniel Bryan without any doubts but the fans what him to own WrestleMania more than the weekly show. From the looks of it, that’s a moment on its way and we might see WrestleMania going off air with Daniel Bryan raising the titles high.
