Stephanie McMahon slaps The Animal Batista!!
Stephanie McMahon slaps The Animal Batista!!

Monday night RAW kicks off as the panel of Josh Mathews, Booker T, Alex Riley and Mick Foley built up the show as Daniel Bryan and HHH’s feud from last week was played again.

Stephanie McMahon walks to the ring as boos ring out at the Barclays Centre before thanking everyone for coming and announcing that Daniel Bryan won’t be present. She acknowledges that fans on social media were correct and that what they did to Bryan last week was bad, before adding that a message needed to be sent to everyone that insubordination won’t be tolerated.

Stephanie adds that some passing fad like the Yes Movement won’t be allowed to become a false leader and guide everyone in the wrong direction. She further justifies last week’s beat down as CM Punk chants break out. Steph also praises her husband Triple H saying that after Hunter beats Bryan at the WrestleMania, he will go on to be crowned the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Randy Orton’s music hits as he walks out. The Viper says he’s not here to argue with Stephanie or to disagree with her, but says he won’t be responsible for what happens to Triple H, if he beats Bryan at WrestleMania.

Bryan chants ring out and Stephanie cuts out Orton saying that the fans can chant all they want but Bryan will not be coming. The Viper says that he will beat both Batista and Triple H to a pulp, and that Stephanie should ask Triple H to walk away from the title match.

Fans start booing when Batista’s music hits and he walks out to a mixed reaction.

Batista says that everyone is missing the point and that the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be him and that he doesn’t care who holds the title, he will be the one walking out with it.

The chants of “a**hole” start to ring out as Batista has a mic issue and is cut by Stephanie who says that she can’t hear a word that Batista’s saying. A mic is slid in the ring, which Stephanie point outs and a moment of awkwardness ensues.

The Animal says that Triple H has never beaten him and if Hunter makes it to the main event, The Animal will beat him once again. He also says that Orton won’t be able to stop him and that Orton’s sucking up to The Authority makes him sick.

Batista asks Orton to drool on Stephanie a little more, as she has been drooled on before. He then adds that she’s been drooled on a lot, to which Stephanie slaps him, knocking his glass and pushing him back.

Orton breaks into laughter as a visibly upset Stephanie leaves the ring while Batista looked on surprised.

Orton is then speared by Batista, who lifts both titles and leaves the ring with a smirk on his face.
