26-year-old RAW Superstar reveals plans for him to wrestle outside of WWE ahead of debut

The Judgment Day has become one of the company's most popular factions and was selected by RAW during this year's WWE Draft. The evil faction betrayed their original leader, Edge, and SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley is now the leader of the group.

The Eradicator has Dominik Mysterio under her spell and the 26-year-old regularly refers to Rhea as his "Mami".Doninik's on-screen relationship with Rhea Ripley has captivated the WWE Universe.

The young star is destined for a legendary career. Speaking to G-Moniy, Dominik stated that he is blessed to already be a part of the company and revealed how he thought his career would initially take shape.

As it turns out, the second generation star was originally going to spend some time in the independent wrestling scene.

“Originally, we had plans for me to go independently and had a scheduled debut independently & go through the whole process of doing indie wrestling and hopefully get a tryout with WWE, but I was very blessed”- Dominik Mysterio [H/T: Wrestle Purists]

Dominik would like another shot against a WWE RAW star

Dominik Mysterio would like the chance to "run it back" against a 37-year-old superstar on RAW.

The Judgment Day member had the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. He squared off against his father, 2023 Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, but came up short. However, he believes that he will continue to get better with more experience and wants to face Seth Rollins again, somewhere down the line.

During his interview with G-Moniy, he noted that he debuted against Rollins and it would go differently if they were to battle again now.

“I debuted against him and I think he got like, he got level 1 Dom. He got level 1 Dom and he struggle to beat level one Dom. I would love to run it back with Seth Rollins and just kind of see where things go now. Especially me having my crew behind me, because I know when he gong after me he had his crew with him. So now that he’s running solo and I got my crew, I’d love to see where things go there." [9:35 - 10:13]

Despite the popularity of The Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley was the only member of the group to pick up a victory during WrestleMania 39. It would be fascinating to see Dominik challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship in the future if The Visionary is able to defeat AJ Styles next Saturday at Night of Champions.
