A former WWE Superstar has fired brutal shots at CM Punk. The professional wrestler under discussion, Matt Riddle, reasoned why The Second City Saint is hard to work with.
The Best in the World has had his share of controversies throughout his wrestling career. His departures from WWE in 2014 and AEW in 2023 were under questionable circumstances.
During a recent interview with Going Ringside, Matt Riddle said that he did not like CM Punk. The MLW World Heavyweight Champion noted that the 46-year-old was poor at fighting and was difficult to work with. He reasoned that Punk kept complaining about everything. Riddle claimed that the former WWE Champion was still a headache.
"You know, I'm not a big fan of that guy [CM Punk] either. That guy su*ks at fighting. He's a b*tch to work with in the back… Because he just bellyaches and complains. This guy complains about getting multiple world title runs… I've heard from my boys that still work there [WWE] that he is a headache, and this isn't a storyline. This is the facts. So, this is what it is," he said. [From 5:40 onwards]

Current WWE champion claims he hates CM Punk
CM Punk and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio have been teasing a feud with each other since The Straight Edge star's return to the company after nearly a decade in 2023. The two stars continue to fire shots at each other during interviews.
During a recent edition of Casual Conversation with The Classic, The Judgment Day member stuck to his heel character while speaking about Punk. Mysterio claimed he hated the veteran. He further mocked The Best in the World, referencing that the latter had to wait so long to main-event WrestleMania.
"I think we both mutually hate each other equally because I f***ing hate CM Punk. I don't know what it is about that guy because he looks like Eddie Munster, and I just want to kick him in the f***ing face, or the fact that, like, 'Oh, he finally did it.' He finally got his WrestleMania main event, like, good for you, old man. 60 years old, and it took you 45 years to accomplish your one goal, like, god***n, dude. It's about time," Dominik said.
