Drew McIntyre has reunited with a major name ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle this Saturday in Glasgow, Scotland. The veteran will be challenging Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at the premium live event.

Almost two decades ago, Drew McIntyre was interviewed by STV News' Kelly-Ann Woodland. The two stars reunited ahead of Clash at the Castle, and the segment was introduced as if they were having a match.

McIntyre picked up Woodland during their interview back in the day, but that did not happen this time around. The Scottish Warrior was asked how it felt to be back in Scotland, and he couldn't contain his excitement.

"I'm so full of adrenaline right now, being back home. And not just back home, getting to catch up with yourself (Woodland) after 17 years, and the fact that we've got the first ever Scottish WWE PLE is mental. The fact that we are in Scotland, and I'm in the main event fighting for the title. This is just unreal," he said. [From 00:28 - 00:44]

Former WWE writer claims the stipulation for Drew McIntyre's match at Clash at the Castle is lame

Vince Russo has shared his thoughts on The Judgment Day being barred from ringside during the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Clash at the Castle.

Drew McIntyre defeated Finn Balor this past Monday night in the main event of WWE RAW. As a result of the win, The Judgment Day will be banned from interfering during the match between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre at the premium live event.

Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo called the stipulation lame and wondered why the group was ever allowed to be ringside during matches.

"Damian Priest sets up with Drew McIntyre, 'You're gonna wrestle Finn Balor tonight and if you beat Finn Balor then Judgment Day is gonna be barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle.' Why are they allowed ringside anyway? This is the WWE. That right there off the bat to open the show makes zero sense. So Damian Priest decides whether Judgment Day is allowed to hang out around the ring, not Adam Pearce? That is so ridiculously lame." [From 3:20 onwards]
