The WWE Universe is convinced that a former World Champion will return as a new character following his recovery from injury. The superstar in question is Seth Rollins.
The Visionary lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre on Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. However, The Scottish Warrior's joy was short-lived as Damian Priest cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to become the new champion. Even after losing a back-and-forth title match, Rollins made an appearance later that night to help Cody Rhodes beat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Seth Rollins is a multi-time champion who has also portrayed several different characters throughout his WWE career. An Instagram update posted by Wrestletales mentioned the same and asked fans if they thought the 37-year-old would bring a new character in his return to in-ring action following recent surgery:

Former WWE champion talks about Seth Rollins costing Roman Reigns his match against Cody Rhodes
The American Nightmare defeated The Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at The Showcase of Immortals to end the latter's 1316-day reign as the champion. The back-and-forth contest saw several major names, including John Cena, the Undertaker, and Seth Rollins, come out to help Rhodes overcome The Bloodline.
Speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, wrestling veteran Matt Hardy shared his take on Night Two's main event for the title. The former WWE Tag Team Champion claimed that Rollins played an integral part in the entire storyline:
"It's such an amazing fine detail, but you know the devil is in the details, right? And this moment was well thought out. Obviously, because they dropped the seeds for, you know, weeks ago obviously. So, yes it was a great moment, and it's so funny I skipped over it as I was thinking more casual fan, you know, big moments that you know people were expecting. But the Seth thing was a very integral piece of the puzzle, and it was great storytelling that the people who pay close attention, they were rewarded," he said.
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been absent from action since WrestleMania. It will be intriguing to see what lies ahead for the two former Shield members.
