Jey Uso has teased an unlikely alliance with a WWE Superstar by giving himself a new nickname ahead of tonight's edition of RAW.

The 38-year-old was announced as the newest member of the RAW roster by Cody Rhodes during his appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect at WWE Payback in September. Kevin Owens recently made his way to SmackDown as compensation for Uso's trade to the red brand.

Last week on RAW, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes lost their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Damian Priest and Finn Balor. Jimmy Uso interfered in the match and helped The Judgment Day win back the titles. Priest is scheduled to battle Jey tonight in a singles match.

Ahead of tonight's episode of WWE RAW, Uso took to his Instagram story to give himself a new nickname. He hyped his match against Damian Priest and referred to himself as "Papi Uso," seemingly to continue his flirtatious relationship with Rhea Ripley.

The Women's World Champion has been given the moniker "Mami" by her fellow stablemates in The Judgment Day. You can check out the video on Instagram by clicking here.

Former WWE Champion reveals he is not excited to have Jey Uso on the RAW roster

Drew McIntyre recently disclosed that he is unhappy to see Jey Uso make his way to the red brand after falling out with The Bloodline.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, McIntyre noted that he is more of a lone wolf and noted that Jey was one of the reasons that he did not capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The Scotsman added that many superstars have been forming factions as of late but doesn't envision himself joining a group anytime soon.

"I don't know, I have always felt more like a lone wolf, and I have noticed that a lot of people have been forming factions and using it to their advantage. You mentioned The Bloodline. There's a reason why I wasn't giving Jey Uso a big hug when he showed up on Monday Night RAW because he was kicking my head for six months straight and making sure I didn't become the Undisputed Champion. I just can't imagine myself in a group right now," said Drew McIntyre. [From 0:28 to 0:55]

The Judgment Day tried to recruit Jey Uso to the faction on WWE RAW, but the former Bloodline member declined the offer. It will be interesting to see how Uso and Rhodes respond to losing the Undisputed Tag Team Championships tonight on WWE RAW.
