Sami Zayn sends a surprising message to Becky Lynch following WWE RAW win

Sami Zayn scored a major victory on this week's WWE RAW. Zayn defeated Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, and Penta to advance in the King of the Ring tournament.

Following the show, Sami Zayn shared a post on his Instagram. The former Intercontinental Champion posted a snap of Becky Lynch arriving at WWE RAW in PHX Arena, and wrote:

"Real recognises real."

The Honorary Uce was referring to Becky Lynch's T-shirt, which had the imprint of Ms. Rachel, the American YouTube star known for creating the YouTube series called "Songs for Littles." Rachel also helped children who are suffering in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

It was surprising to see Sami Zayn, who is currently a babyface, sending a positive message to Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who turned heel following WrestleMania. Zayn is also feuding with Lynch's husband, Seth Rollins, on RAW in recent weeks.

Becky Lynch came out on RAW this week, charging that Lyra Valkyria had ruined her Intercontinental Title victory at Money in the Bank. She called out Valkyria to explain her actions, but was attacked by a returning Bayley. The Man took out The Role Model during the Day 1 pre-show of WrestleMania 41 and replaced her in the WWE Tag Team Championship match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

The Role Model was on hiatus before returning on this week's RAW to take out Becky Lynch. However, The Man once again escaped before Bayley could deliver the Rose Plant.

Vince Russo reacts to the Karrion Kross-Sami Zayn backstage segments

Speaking on an episode of Sportskeeda's Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo talked about Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross' backstage segments on RAW.

In recent weeks, Kross has been trying to turn Sami heel. He told Sami that he could have been a multi-time World Champion if he had done the right thing. Speaking on this, Vince Russo said he was quite baffled by their interactions and suggested how Karrion Kross could finally lead Zayn into turning heel.

"I'm just so confused by the Kross stuff cause they keep doing this with so many people and it goes nowhere. It just goes [that] he's telling Sami Zayn you're a bad boy like the rest of us, you're not a good guy. If you're going to say you're a bad boy just like the rest of us, then say I have something on you. That's the hook, bro. 'I've got something on Sami Zayn, and when it comes out, his career is going to be [done]' Give me something like that. Not just telling him, 'Bro, I know you're a bad bad boy.' All of us are bad boys," Russo said. [28:42 onwards]

Many have speculated Sami's heel turn since his return to WWE after WrestleMania 41. The company also teased Zayn joining Seth Rollins' new stable on RAW. It remains to be seen when the Honorary Uce finally pulls the trigger.
