A lot has changed in WWE ever since Triple H took over the creative duties from Vince McMahon in July 2022. While some of The Game's decisions have sat well with fans, many are disappointed with his booking of Bobby Lashley.
The All Mighty has been treading water since his feud with Brock Lesnar ended. He was seemingly slated to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39, but the plans were nixed after The Eater of Worlds had to take time off. Lashley was involved in the United States Championship picture and a feud with Bronson Reed before his move to SmackDown, but the two rivalries failed to gain any traction.
Wrestling Twitter recently pointed out the inconsistent booking and lack of coherent storylines for Lashley. Many called out Triple H for his treatment of the SmackDown star.

Bobby Lashley was a part of the tournament to crown the new World Heavyweight Champion. While Lashley secured a victory in the first round, he came up short against AJ Styles in the semi-finals. Lashley also got busted open during the round two match and was not at his best during his showdown against The Phenomenal One.
Bobby Lashley could be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns, according to WWE veteran
Bobby Lashley is one of the most credible potential challengers for Roman Reigns' title, as the latter has decimated numerous WWE stars in his current run. The duo has been largely kept off each other's paths over the last few years, with their last singles match coming in 2018.
With Lashley being drafted to SmackDown, Triple H and co. have the golden opportunity to reignite the rivalry between the two powerhouses. The All Mighty is also backed by JBL as the Hall of Famer believes that the former could be the one to finally usurp The Head of the Table.
"I think Bobby wants to be the top dog again, and I think he should be. You have a finite clock in the WWE. Eventually, father time is gonna catch up to you. It has not caught up to Bobby Lashley yet. I saw him the other day in person; he looks better than I've ever seen him look. Now, him going after Roman Reigns, I think that's a great move. I think Bobby could be the guy to stop Roman Reigns."
Bobby Lashley has already stated his intentions of going after Roman Reigns following his move to WWE SmackDown. It'll be interesting to see when the Triple H-led creative decides to rekindle the rivalry.
