Seth Rollins' faction launched an assault toward the end of SmackDown on two top superstars, and this has directly put their Money in the Bank status at risk as a result.
This week on SmackDown, Seth Rollins' group made an unexpected appearance, which, of course, was because of the fact that Money in the Bank was just one night later. There was a match featuring Penta and Andrade, two of Rollins' MITB competitors, as they defeated The Creed Brothers.
However, after the match, Rollins' group came out and they launched a massive assault on the two top stars, Penta and Andrade, seemingly putting their MITB status at risk.
While Andrade and Penta are expected to compete in the ladder match in Los Angeles, the issue is likely to be the injury fallout from this. One thing is for sure: Penta and Andrade will not be the favorites to be walking out with the MITB briefcase.
It's going to be interesting to see who wins this year, but if a report from WrestleVotes Radio on WrestleBinge is to be believed, Rollins and Solo Sikoa are the two frontrunners to win the Men's MITB Ladder Match.
Cody Rhodes also swooped in and had a brief confrontation with Rollins.
