There were reports that McMahon spoke at the memorial service for Hulk Hogan earlier this week. Hogan last appeared on WWE television on RAW's debut episode on Netflix on January 6, 2025.

Former WWE writer praises Vince McMahon

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared what he thought Vince McMahon did a better job of than Triple H while he was in WWE.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran claimed that it sounded like Triple H was running a country club backstage, and that he preferred Vince McMahon's way of doing things. He noted that he learned a lot from the former CEO when it came to having the proper work ethic.

"All the things I read today, man, it just sounds like a country club," Russo said. "I'll be honest, Chris, I'd rather have Vince's way than a country club because Vince really, really taught me work ethic. Chris, when I tell you every day I went to work early and left late, and no matter how early I got there or how late I left, his freaking car was there. Without that discipline, I probably wouldn't be able to do this [run a podcasting business] today," said Russo.

Triple H now serves as the company's Chief Content Officer and has guided the promotion to a lot of success as of late. Only time will tell what the company has planned on the road to Clash in Paris later this month.
