WWE Superstar sides with Seth Rollins; disrespects former world champion after inviting him on SmackDown show

Recently drafted SmackDown star Grayson Waller ridiculed former WWE Champion AJ Styles by siding with Seth Rollins on the latest episode of the blue brand.

Last week on the blue brand, the former NXT star debuted on the main roster in a backstage segment following the 2023 WWE Draft. The Aussie approached WWE official Adam Pearce, and it was confirmed that AJ Styles would be appearing as a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect this week.

Tonight on SmackDown, The Phenomenal One joined Waller in the ring. The latter asked Styles what the new World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions meant to him.

The former world champion said he recently returned from the longest injury break of his career, which motivated him to train harder than ever. The former world champion reiterated that he was ready for his title shot while Seth Rollins was on a movie set, referencing Rollins being a part of MCU's new Captain America: New World Order.

AJ Styles hoped Seth Rollins was training and focusing on the match. However, Waller predicted that The Visionary would win the contest at the WWE Night of Champions as an insult to The Phenomenal One.

It remains to be seen who will emerge as the new world champion in Saudi Arabia.
