Out of the five brand-war matches on the Survivor Series card, one of the most important bouts featured WWE United States Champion AJ Styles take on NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in triple threat action.

As expected, three of them went on to deliver an instant classic. Towards the end, AJ Styles hit Shinsuke Nakamura with the Phenomenal Forearm but the NXT North American Champion appeared out of nowhere and covered the WWE Intercontinental Champion to get the win.

WWE Survivor Series 2019

For the past few years, Survivor Series has been the platform for brand warfare. The stakes were higher in 2019 with NXT entering the scene. Apart from fighting for the pride of their respective brands, Survivor Series also helps the Superstar to establish himself as the better Champion in the main roster.

RAW's AJ Styles, NXT's Roderick Strong and Shinsuke Nakamura, who represent the Blue Brand, fought with the same intentions and as a result, the fans were treated with an incredible matchup.

With the NXT North American Champion getting the pinfall, the Black-and-Gold brand got 3 points against 1 point each of RAW and SmackDown. How will the Red and Blue brand get back into the scene? Sound off your reactions by commenting below.
