#4 The Rock vs. John Cena 2 (WrestleMania 29)
When John Cena won the Royal Rumble and The Rock defeated CM Punk for the WWE Championship, the WWE Universe issued a collective groan.
After their first bout twelve months earlier had been promoted as Once in a Lifetime, we were getting a second instalment of the feud which begs the question - was this their plan all along?
As it turns out, the answer to that was yes. The two-year plan from WrestleMania 27 all the way through to MetLife Stadium played out perfectly on WWE's part, but despite their best efforts the fans just weren't as into the rematch as the company may have been hoping.
Throwing finisher after finisher in there wasn't enough, and it left many people feeling a tad deflated as Mania 29 went off the air.
