  • Number #3 RAW pick on Night 1; SmackDown - October 11, 2019.
  • Number #5 overall draft pick for that night.
  • Drafted in Round 1.

Drew McIntyre has exceeded expectations even though he was considerably drafted at a higher position in the 2019 WWE Draft.

Despite arriving on the Red brand in 2018, it took Drew more than a year to live up his moniker as The Chosen One. It was only during the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match in 2020 where The Scottish Psychopath eliminated Brock Lesnar, to everyone's surprise.

He eliminated six other contestants in that bout - including Roman Reigns - and ended up winning the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match this year. McIntyre turned babyface for the first time on the main roster since his return, and he challenged The Beast Incarnate for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 36.

The rest is history, as McIntyre not only toppled Brock Lesnar at The Grandest Stage of Them All, but he also managed to defeat stars like The Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley, during his title reign.

McIntyre remains the WWE Champion as of this moment. He is currently embroiled in a feud with Randy Orton, despite having defeated The Viper on two separate pay-per-views in recent memory.
