Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE television for weeks. However, the company has teased The OTC's potential return ahead of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.

Paul Heyman betrayed the former Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41. The Hall of Famer also turned his back on CM Punk, aligning with Seth Rollins in a shocking turn of events. On RAW after WrestleMania 41, Reigns was taken out by Rollins and his newest recruit, Bron Breakker.

Rollins now has his focus on winning the Money in the Bank briefcase this weekend. However, he also has a big target on his back, courtesy of his former Shield stablemate. Reigns could return to WWE this weekend at the Money in the Bank PLE, taking Rollins out of the 6-Man ladder match and replacing him in the contest. Reigns will look to get some retribution against Rollins and Paul Heyman when he returns, and if he makes his presence felt at MITB, taking Rollins out of the titular contest and replacing him would be a perfect way to get even with his former Shield brother and Wiseman.

Roman Reigns has held multiple championships in WWE, including six World Titles. He has also won the Royal Rumble once in his career, but has never held the Money in the Bank briefcase. Winning the contract this weekend would provide fresh storylines and a new direction for The OTC, who no longer has the Wiseman by his side.

The Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match will feature major names including Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, El Grande Americano, and Rollins.

Seth Rollins claimed that Roman Reigns is "gone" from WWE

Seth Rollins cut a promo after Monday Night RAW went off the air. The former WWE Universal Champion claimed that Roman Reigns was "gone" from the company.

Addressing the WWE Universe, The Visionary said:

"The champ is done for, your martyr is done for, Sami Zayn in the dirt, OTC nowhere in sight. You know whose time it is, right now? That chant is a joke, like all of you. He's gone. We put him in the dirt, just like these three. It is my time. It is our time. Because I am a visionary, I am a revolutionary, I am - You're too easy, you morons."

Rollins' comments appear to be purely kayfabe, and there are no reports that Reigns has actually left the company. However, despite all the speculation, there has been no official confirmation on Roman Reigns potentially returning to WWE this weekend. Fans have to wait to find out if The OTC makes his highly anticipated return at Money in the Bank.
