Shayna Baszler has been kept away from TV for a considerable amount of time, and the last update stated that she is healthy, but the WWE creative doesn't have anything for her at the moment.

Becky Lynch herself noted during a recent interview that she had pitched the idea of losing the title to Baszler at WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer revealed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon rejected the idea of Becky Lynch dropping the WWE RAW Women's Championship to Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36. Vince McMahon even turned down the idea of Baszler winning the Money in the Bank match and went with Asuka.

"While she (Lynch) actually was pregnant at Mania she didn’t know it until a couple of weeks later, but she did know they were trying and it would be best to get the title off her. WWE rejected the idea. The idea at the time was Baszler would eventually get the title and they did a finish to build for a rematch using the Money in the Bank stip because Baszler was scheduled to win that match. Vince nixed that and went with Asuka."

It was added that Vince McMahon completely 'soured' on Shayna Baszler as he was unable to understand the style that an MMA fighter could use in professional wrestling. Baszler reportedly 'didn't check Vince McMahon's buttons' with regards to women in wrestling and he decided to stop her push and remove her from WWE TV. It should be noted that all of this happened before Paul Heyman's ouster.

Meltzer noted the following:

"Vince also soured on Baszler completely because he never conceptually grasped the style that an MMA fighter should use in pro wrestling and she doesn't check his buttons when it comes to women in wrestling, so he made the call to remove her push and take her off television. This was all before Heyman was dumped."
