As we have been covering in the last couple of weeks, TNA was poised to have a big show to mark its debut on new broadcast partner channel, POP TV. And they delivered, with a much-hyped debut and a new champion being crowned among others.
The teaser videos TNA had been airing leading upto this show advertising the ‘Miracle’ gimmick was revealed to be for former ROH star Mike Bennett and his wife, former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis.
The TNA World Title Series saw Matt Hardy beat Eric Young and Ethan Carter 3 beat Bobby Lashley, to advance to the finals where EC3 defeated Hardy to reclaim his TNA World Heavyweight Championship. This win makes him a 2-time champion in the promotion.
While the official accounts are yet to confirm the win, the below photo was posted by a fan in attendance.
Awesome Kon was revealed to be the new leader of The Beautiful People. Gail Kim teamed with Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne of the group, to defeat Rebel, Marti Belle and Jade of The Dollhouse.
